theMCGuiRE review takes a look at World Of Warcraft the Adventure Board Game from Fantasy Flight Games. This is an older game but a favorite of mine and I have a great time every time I play. Its just one of those classic games from the past that offers a fun adventure and simple mechanics.

Seriously – anyone remember “Save The Murlocks”?

  2. Great video! This graphic design reminds me of Quest for Middle Earth, also around that time period, same icons almost, I really love that game. Thou I haven't this wow one, I was a player during the wotlk expansion of the videogame, and this sounds a pretty old FFG goodness. My only question is: what's the quality stock of the cards? Have hold up several plays thanks to their white border? Thank you again for sharing.

  3. Great retrospective. Inspired me to crack this out and play with my younger kids next vacation. Subbed!

Did you ever do a review of the Boardgame? I have both these games and remember enjoying each but not played them in years. I will rectify this soon.

Edit -Dec/23: So I played this today for the first time in at least a decade, it doesnt hold up to my memory (or you just need the right group). Be warned this game has a lot of randomness in it which wastes your time (for example, a card that can kill all players and sends them back to their starting city while losing all their items), losing all your items anytime you die etc. That's a big ask for a game which such a big time investment built around RPG style progression. All that can be wiped away randomly due to a draw of a card or 1 bad die roll/combat.
