World of Warcraft: Dragonflight was announced yesterday and it’s time to share my First Impressions of the expansion and what was revealed during the Blizzard Entertainment livestream. From the Dragon Isles, the Dracthyr race, Invoker class, Dragon Flying, to reworked professions, updated UIs, and updated Talent Trees, in this video I go over each part of the Dragonflight announcement, sharing my personal opinions on each point this new expansion is bringing to World of Warcraft.

Please note that this video was recorded shortly after the announcement livestream, so new information has come to light, new features and changes coming with World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. I’ll talk about all those in a future video!

  1. I know there's been more announcements and things since the livestream event, so I'll talk about all that new stuff in a future video. This one was just recorded right after the stream was over.

Real talk though, now that we've had 24 hours to think about this, what are our thoughts on this expansion?

  2. Looks like same old boring expansion, pay $60+ game subscription to get 4-5 new zones to quest on that are totally solo able ( no player socializing )
few new dungeons and raiding/pvp at max level.

  3. I'm optimistic but extremely worried that things are going to get changed/get implemented in a different way than what they're showing us. I'm probably not going to get right into the xpack, I might wait it out a month and see how people feel. I do really like what was shown though, I love the zones, I actually kinda like the new class/race, and I like the direction that the "teaching your dragon to fly" thing can go, like with the cloud serpents in MoP. Definitely gonna have to wait in see though.

  4. Deathwing: oh god I f&@$ their appearance really badly ☠️ damn it

Jokes aside I hope you can use the dragons in a raid cause wrath y’all remember The Oculus when we use the different color of the dragons to fight in the air and I loved it and hoping for same thing in dragonflight

  5. The reason for the original change in talents was that with more levels and talent points, there was a fear that you could have enough points in two trees to be real double-spec. Remember you didnot choose a spec, you choosed talents.

  6. The Drakthir Invoker can actually be the most fun if they let it. Think about it, they don't need to worry about balancing all the race/class combos. They can just go crazy with it.

  7. Main I heard from a buddy about a dragon race I didnt realize it was a broadway socially acceptable rendition of dragon race.. Im gonna wait and see tired of commiting and getting fucked over

  8. Ever played those dragon hatching mobile games? Yup it’ll probably be that but in WoW easy enough keep the subs coming in until it’s finally not profitable just keep milking the code that the old guard put all the work into. Now these weird mental issue special people are just scraping it by and acting like it’s a massive content drop. Same ol drop into the new expansion legion style and race to see who’s dps bar can pee pee further in raids or mythics no real innovation just roller coaster dragon riding. Hope I’m wrong.

  9. My two cents of Dragonflight is that. it SEEMS to be Blizzard putting things in place to make the game a success in the future. I think this is an important step that needed to be taken in order to make WOW better in the future… At least I hope that's the case they are making all the right noises.

  10. I hope dragonflight becomes a great expansion. Personally though im done. I'll probably continue to watch you and other wow content creators here and there but I have no intentions of playing dragonflight or any future expansions. I have played a little bit here and there since the launch of Shadownlands and I have just come to realize im not enjoying the game and I have other things in my life I'd rather do now.

  11. Everything will be gated. There will be portals/teleports everywhere. It won't feel like an MMO more like a linear teleport fiasco. It's already carrying on from the Arbiter crap we had in Oribos. It won't be open world. I bet you can't run into each zone there will be a stupid waygate or teleport.

  12. Honestly between chromie time and the level squish from shadowlands and now the reworked talents and professions it feels like blizzard really has just been spending the last few years trying to refine the core of the game rather than create amazing endgame content which I'm honestly completely chill with. Shadowlands itself may have been bad but the 1-50 experience has honestly been top tier. Questing recently has felt more like an actual RPG lately than it has in a long time and I think the new talents and professions will really add to that even more.

  13. Totally agree about the gut-punch factor. It's a nice, gentle, Azeroth-lore rich expansion but nothing that "touches me" deeply (Mmm Ishnu'allah). Tbh, BfA (apart from the N'zoth stuff) had major gut punch factor for me especially with the introduction of Zandalar and Kul'Tiras and the sheer visceral ferocity of the resumed conflict.

  14. Warcraft used to be influenced by Tolkien, mythology and medieval aesthetics nowadays it's influenced by king fu panda, how to train your dragon and marvel movies – can anyone see why this is a depth problem?
The new race is sooooo lame.
