  1. So in my infinite wisdom – I rendered and uploaded this without realising I had "muted" my Space Marine Avatar. And have noticed… just now… at the time of writing this comment…

    Sorry y'all!

  2. It was close enough where a lot of the Astartes were worried about what would happen to them when the war was over, because it looked like reasonably attainable goal at the time.

  3. Khan is my favorite Primarch , he's got everything, he's a fuckin Steppe warrior, he's so good at fighting that Orks fear him, and best of all he's actually a rational guy but not in a downer or square sort of way.

  4. I have not read this series so this is just a question.
But doesnt the Khan's word directly conflict with the statement of "they are all dying or dead" statement? He said how many times has that been said insinuating that there is plenty that can still harm them, thus not all dying or dead. So it still leave the question wide open of how close was the imperium to total victory. Or am i just ignorantly misunderstanding based off very top level information.

  5. The Necron's simply hadn't woken up yet, if they did and the GC provided some means of unifying their Dynasties, the Imperium was fucked, though the Emperor and Malcador might just make a truce with them to try and avoid that, because a war would be bad, bad news.

  6. Always remember, the last enemy, comes from within. Unity dies with the threats of outside, peace ends with war, war starts with peace. Greed and pride is the nature of humanity. It is the fuel of their progress, and the match that brings their down fall.
Hilarious, if you think about it.

  7. I mean… considering the very age of sail nature of space travel and that planets like necromuda where a stones throw from terra and remained undiscovered for millenia.

Even if you take the high estimates of imperial colonisation the imperium ocupies only a fraction of the galaxy.

  9. Theyre all dead or dying… Nothing can harm us.

the ork empire twice the size of Ullanor to the galactic west of sol enters the chat
The dark city of Commorragh that harvests the defenceless humanity as a farmer with his crops
The Craftworlders that couldn't care less about humanites little empire

    Yeaaaahhh… Victory… Sure…

  10. The Khan is one of the greatest of the Emperors sons. He showed success in silence, never bragging.

From first glance, he just seems like a mirror of Genghis. But when you dive deep, he is truly one of the best at what he does.
