Arcane was also the most high budget animated serie of all time and made by one of the best studio who have a solid history of absolute (but short) bangers.
+ insane marketing
+ total rewriting of the lore (which wouldn't be the case with an Arthas serie)
They could do several seasons in a Clone Wars style animation, where we could see Arthas episode by episode, from training to fighting orcs, then leading his men against the Scourge, and eventually turning on his people. They could flesh out minor characters along the way, and show more locations to build the world further than WoW could.
MY god it would be so easy for them. Do Arthas' story line. It'd make so much money.

you make a good point. also if they make it animated they can probably make it a lot cooler and more dramatic. and have a more flexible way of creating the characters.

just the events of warcraft 1, 2 and 3, adapted with this level of quality, would be enough to make the most epic fantasy show in history.

The Warcraft MOVIE should have been about Arthas I will never forgive that missed opportunity.
