Season 12 of Overwatch 2 starts next week, and this season comes with another crossover event. Most of the crossover events have been with other “external” IPs, but for the second time around, the Overwatch team is considering including a brand that is a little closer to home.
In the season 12 trailer we discussed in an earlier video, they teased that they will be doing a crossover event with World of Warcraft, a Blizzard game a lot of the senior members on team 4 have worked on in the past.
But what can we expect from this event? Who is getting a skin, and when is it starting? Let’s have a look.

It’s been so long but I still remember the first time we beat lich king. Disc priest bubbles ftw. A part of me misses playing wow but the rest of me enjoys having a life XD
I really hope it will be just the first part of a larger collaboration. Even if I wish for Arthas,Jaina or any classic skin also the new Alleria and Anduin style or Xal’atath looks great.

I didn't play much WoW, but Warcraft 3 is one my favorite games. My guess for a skin would be Sylvanas Widowmaker or even Ashe.
Rein = Lich King
DVA = Deathwing
Mauga = Baine
Junkrat = Vol'jin
Mercy = Jaina
They'll also bring back Illidan Genji and Tyrande Symmetra and make a special bundle for the other constantly available Warcraft skins.
Diablo 4 just had a bunch of WoW skins drop, Sylvanas for rogues, Xal'atath for necromancer, etc. So I'm chalking this up to The War Within hype-up, but it possible there's more to it.
A mercy WoW skin would be GORGEOUS. I’ve been dying for another fantasy skin for her because they’re always beautiful. So excited to see it.

Man, my wallet is in danger. Arthas and Frostmourne is my childhood. Warcraft just did a collaboration with Diablo 4 with Sylvanas, Varian, Kael’thas, Xavius, and Xal’athath from the upcoming expansion. May be hints as to what you could expect. I could see Ash getting a Sylvanas skin.
