this was a fun trip down memory lane. crazy to think that Cata is so old now. honestly, i dont think it was a very good expansion, but i have some of the greatest memories of my life playing during that time just because i was in a really great guild with awesome people. (shoutout to Starr and Monk!)
last time i moved, the only WoW boxes i kept were Vanilla and BC since those were my favorites. but ive also still got the game manual for Warcraft 2, which is fantastic. lots of old lore (which has largely been retconned by WoW) and ink drawings by Metzen himself that look so cool. i love that book. you can just feel the passion from the developers bleeding through. they envisioned this whole world and could show off so little of it in the original RTS games.
