this patch is why i uninstalled what a joke of a content patch
Siren Isle was NOT worth my sub. Blizzard, STOP REMOVING FLYING. NO ONE wants this. No flying in Undermined = garbage content. Time to uninstall.
I got the year sub about a year ago and I was glad, been a good time.
Honestly though, my sub is up in a week and I have no intentions of resubbing, until gearing up doesn't feel like dragging my face over glass or the regular content is fun again I'm just over it for a while. This content patch is kinda joke and i'm just over it.
If there's to be any timegating at all, the intervals should be very short, like daily.
I welcome the timegating, because I have played nearly everyday since War Within came out, and I played a ton during Panda Remix.

The glowing nose is ultra rare? I literally got 2 on my first 2 attempts. It can't be that rare of a spawn.
WoW becomes more and more like an afk mobile game, but hack and slash wow style.

Wtf people were expecting ? Once the ring is max ILVL with the optimal gems, there's nothing else to do.
Wow became a drizzling of small content frequently. This is why vanilla have always been better.
I tell you the no flying is not the problem, the problem is that in this game mode (let's call it that) doesn't enhance our gameplay at all, so it was sure a backlash.
"timegate killed 11.0.7" oh please, it's a filler patch, that's good there are no rush to do everything right away. Always so dramatic it's getting annoying
finally did my campaign and the final boss is a cripple in a chair trying to remember how to count backwards
Timegating really grinds my gears in WoW. Feels like they’re just trying to keep the subscriptions up with this filler "content." I finished the island in about 1.5 hours, and thankfully my sub ran out yesterday. Gonna wait for Season 2 at least.
Why is there so much drama for everything that gets released? People just complain literally about anything nowadays.

The problem with time gateting. It feels terrible doing it week after week. While a new player comes to 11.1 and gets all the catch gear and boom his done and ready. While you suffer week by week.
I think they should remove time gateting and let the hardcore players grind all day. Most players will grind one or two toons. While hard-core might do the grind five or six times.
Sirèn island is small enough to run around in. Dont miss flying while im there. Really glad rares are easy to get to.

The real problem is the ring is pointless tge dam thing gets beat by 589 ilvl with good stats I tried it in raid thing was dog water
Honestly considering all the other things you should be doing per week (8 t8 delves, 8 heroic/mythics, 8 raid bosses) the weekly timegate is not a big deal.
I'm casual and i never actually fully cap out the vault slots between 5 80s, just mostly do bountiful delves and push for coffer keys in the world. The game is honestly better for the change of pace and the optional gameplay that comes with it.
I feel for players that feel like they "need" to do this content, but considering I'm someone that got the WoD ring and the panda cloak on like 10 different characters each while keeping 3-4 of them heroic/mythic raid ready, I just don't feel much sympathy for a self-inflicted grind having gone through plenty of my own.
It amazes me people still play WoW. It's been awful for a long time now.
Timegating exists because they offered such a tiny amount of content that it could be wrapped up in a day, which is on par for the TWW expansion anyways… a person could crank out the whole thing in a month or less. Meanwhile, on classic wow, I'm only level 13 and carefully plotting my strategy for these farking troggs kicking my ass LOL. At this rate, it'll take me 6 months to crank out to end-game… ON ONE TOON. Then start another, on the other side of the planet with a fresh set of quests i haven't seen. Retail WoW is garbage.

Tiemgating is just a way to maintain people paying their sub longer, like half of the things in the game, that's de business.
Whoever thinks timegating is to help people with less time to play is delusional.
5:40 They introduce a nice item in a small zone and then go and timelock it and disable flight for the duration of the time lock. GG you killed the new zone and gear item you introduced straight out the gate.
Timegating sucks. I go to Siren's to do the daily quest for the snapdragon and done. I've done all quests and kills for the week…got my Thrayir and Marmaduke so there isn't anything for me to do. Killing for transmogs and alt gearing isn't appealing. So really not motivated to play without something new to work on…
Inflation affect all humans
I do not mind time gating, I grew up in a time where I needed to wait a week to see what happened on the next episode of Dragonball Z. I still like the anticipation, but I am the silent minority on this subject.
Time-gating player power isn't a problem as long as everyone clocks at the same rate. If a piece of gear isn't good yet, leave it in your bag until it is. If my BIS trinket drops from the last boss of the end game mythic raid I'm not going to be seeing that for a while either.
I just got the ULTRA-RARE Rudolph pet! I named both reindeer appropriately: The ULTRA-RARE reindeer is named Rudolph (of course), and the other normal common reindeer is named Dasher!
I don't play retail, but it looks like gear is pointless.

I dislike time-gating as I'm sure most people do. I imagine it's them using attrition to milk the patch as long as they can, because there's really not that much to the patch.
It isn't ultra rare, I got mine on the second attempt and I see everyone with both versions so the red nose isn't ultra rare 😢.
I stopped playing WoW because of the time-gating.
The worst offense is professions.
Yet here I am checking WoW news because housing has been announced. I really hope they fix professions. I hate Knowledge Points so much.
