“For The Alliance!” achievement on WOTLK fresh server Skyfury. We are freshly leveled 70 characters vs wrath level faction leaders. Sardinaz lead 4 raid groups (~160 players) to victory against the horde. I honestly can’t say that I have ever seen a group that large all on the same page and working together so well. Respect to Sardinaz, I know he has lead a few of these groups for the achievement. I just hope the horde don’t all transfer to Angerforge. This isn’t necessarily a guide, but Sardinaz has the strats.

Joyous Journeys – Summer XP Buff Event = 50% bonus exp while you level. Lasts the rest of pre-patch until the official launch sept 26. Perfect time to return to wow and level on the “fresh start” servers with everyone else in preparation for wow’s greatest expansion. New servers, new economy, new characters, no transfers for 3 months, no boosts, nothing.

  1. I used to be a Horde player, so I would have been out of there faster than you could say, “For the Alliance!”

Though I don’t play WoW anymore, so who am I to worry? 🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. Did this at 60 prepatch with 4 raid groups. Was epic planned and eventually had to be done at 3am due to endless griefing lifeswap priests. But yeah two full dedicated over groups for the heavy hitting leaders and then 2 pvp who o lay focused alliance and finding stealthies

  3. Doing these before the world revamp back in the day and in classic felt so rewarding. Constantly having to world pvp on the way to the city and race to beat the mounting defense was a fun experience . The only way to relive the original pvp and mount run on retail is to raid Silvermoon or Exodar and you’ll only probably run into a few people on the way.

  4. Ah yeah, did the same in wotlk classic prepatch as horde. We were like 4 raid parties, it was required due to the updated city leader and boss health’s 😆 Had forgotten all about this!
