Man, this was a great video ❤
You can only go to exile's reach if it's your first character by the way, that wasn't the case for you because you already had a bunch.
add about 20 more buttons to ur rotation make sure you have alot of addons and a big ass WA pack and do not parse below 90… welcome back to the jetsons my friend godspeed
I did that. Took me months to figure out all the changes systems and everything. The worse was scaling of levels and quests below 80. I would get some quest that would be super easy until unkillable raid boss would come out lol. Sometimes I'd get 2 levels in a dungeon and then the quest mobs I just farmed before would 2 shot me lol
If you are enjoying retail keep playing retail. Classic is a whole other can of worms. The reason the streamers say retail doesn't feel like an MMORPG is because the game has changed a lot in the past 9 years. And it is a different game from Classic.
Great video bud!
You can continue questing and doing content from Dragonflight or any other expansion you pick. Only the content won't scale with your level anymore after 70.
There’s also Plunderstorm rn. And MoP remix in the past. So 9
There’s no reason you couldn’t have continued with the Tuskar! I doubt you would have really even gained any experience. I’m hitting 70 at the end of Ohn'ahran Plains, and I'll do Azure Coast and Zaralek Cavern before I even get TWW.
Couple of notes for you friend:
1- When is literaly your first character ever in the game, you only get Exiles Reach. You only get to chose between it and your race og starting zone if you already have at least 1 character.
2- You can totaly go back to Dragonflight and do the questline if you choose to. Go back and take the quest you were working at, and you can resume and finish in case you wanna see the storyline and all the quests, etc
3- Older expansions are a bit empty. But even Shadowlands i see people when i go back there for x reazons.
4- The upcoming patch looks to be realy good and it seems will continue the wining streak of TWW so far!
Great vid man, good to know I’m not the only clueless dude coming back to wow 😭
It's like drinking from firehose but you don't need to digest it all at once.
so there is another big bad in the trilligy which we wont really see again till the last part most likely which is one of the big bad dragons from the last expansion, like xal he is so dam good because he is smart he knows he most likely cant win in a one v one vs the players because well it would be everyone vs him so he works behind the scenes, hell the only reason why xal is a threat at the moment is because he teamed up with her to give her the powerful artifact in the start of this expansion just so that she would keep us busy. and the best part the bad dragons master plan it seems all he wants to do is just punch god in the face that is it. all this distruction and chaos is just so the titans would come back so he could punch them in the face
press V to turn on your nameplates
Wow is back baby! Welcome home, Undermined hype!
6:55 if you're a brand new player you are forced into exiles reach. you only had the choice because you have other characters
It just dawned on me that next year marks 10 years since Legion, and now I'm having an existential crisis.
Refreshing take on WoW my friend! – couldn’t agree more with your statement at the end that retai very much feels and looks alive, would always confuse me how big streamers would say it feels like a solo game…just shows they haven’t been playing it!
I did something similar. Quit mid-legion for a couple of years, but I did come back for the first Classic and got to clear Naxx. Then took another break and returned for Dragonflight. Leveled up my main in BfA and had to move over to Dragon Isles even before I completed the first zone. So…don't do any side quests, if you want to play through the story. Quit Dragonflight around the end of S1, having played Evoker a bit too as an alt. Tried to gear up in solo arenas, but it's really hard to catch up when classes have had abilities piled up on them for a couple of expansions. I'm more of a battleground PvPer and PvE player anyway. Came back for War Within again just a few weeks ago. Delves were a bit easier than I expected and Siren Isle is just a loot pinata (too easy), but I'm still enjoying delves. I'm glad I did quite a bit of delves before I remembered to look into Siren Isle. I do some at t10/t11 even though it's not really reasonable in terms of rewards vs. time. Follower dungeons seem like a great idea (did one, want to do a few more – maybe on alts). I'm not going to stay long. I know that when I play, I play too much, but when real life is impossible to deal with, it's nice to have a place to escape to, where all the challenges are designed to be feasible. The game is crazy complicated, but it does play pretty well and can be fun, but a lot of the content is way too easy – just complicated. Not touching mythic+ or raiding as I don't want to play in a guild (you form ties and then suddenly you have been playing for a couple of years instead of living your life in the real world). It's easier to quit when you just play solo. Level 11 players in timewalking dungeons are… weird.
Highly HIGHLY recommend playing on a RP server. Shoutout to Moon Guard the community is amazing and it feels more alive then anything I’ve played b4
