  1. Fingers crossed Venthyr stays decent. Great for UH and BoS Frost, easy to use ability and makes dealing with adds no problem, Door of Shadows has some great uses at avoiding raid mechanics – and we'll be able to DPS the adds on Sire, and most importantly thematically it's acceptable for a DK and matches the opening tier of the expansion. So yeah just praying here theres no nerfs to it or buffs to Kyrian/Night Fae at this point.

  2. what i hate about all of thesxe arbitrary systems in the last couple of expansions is that it prevents you from playing multiple specs, and this trend isnt going anywhere. this is so sad since i love both frost and unholy but now i have to pick just one, furthertmore if i want to play frost i also need to choose which frost build im going to play even before choosing my covenant. so dumb

  3. how does 2H oblit build perform with Glacial advance in aoe/m+? as well as equipping the Biting Cold leggo and Pelagos souldbind (Kyrian cov.)? Want to main Frost dk, but seems like unholy is the way unfortunately

No matter what's BiS right now, play whatever you want instead of feeling forced to join a covenant you don't like or play a build you don't want to.
Having fun is the most important part, that's what games are for.

  5. Annoying how the developers took the covenant that screams death knight and made it the least favorable covenant with death knights with soul binds, and abilities. I will be picking the Necrolord covenant but for others that want to pick it they don't because everyone is showing how it is the worst of all four covenants:/

  6. Love the video and the analysis, I think your content is great. Will you be doing a similar video on BDK? Additionally, what are your thoughts on each covenant from the perspective of off-specing? As someone who plays both tank and dps, I'd love to hear you thoughts on not only which covenants are good for each spec (like in this video) but also any good combinations between covenants and multiple specs if someone want to play a lot of both frost and blood for example.

  7. Great video Biceps. Thank you for all your work to help the DK community.

It seems that what we all suspected in early bets is true. BoS is at worst 1% ahead on single target. If you go NF, and only if you are NF, Oblit is competitive with BoSon 1-2 targets. Once you have 3 targets BoS pulls away and doesn’t look back.

Poor Bicepspump tried to make non BoS players not feel completely demoralized but let’s face it, we can always “play what we want” but all of the numbers, and the actual mechanics and dmg profile, say “play what you want for single target only”. It’s a false choice unless you never find yourself in a cleave situation

  8. I realy liked ice cap gameplay it was something fresh and completly different from BoS. I hope that obliteration build will be higer dps one becasue playing BoS for 6 years in row is starting to be a little boring.

  9. i am planning to play unholy in m+ and for everything else 2 handed forst. Which covenant would be best for this scenario? Was thinking night fae beacause both builds can work with it or do i miss something?

  10. I not a great Dk player by any means, but wouldnt adding a aoe splash to 2 Handed Obliterate be an idea? It would solve the AoE issues, but also feel like you are smashing that Obliterate so hard it ripples frost in a set radius?

  11. So for raid I'm thinking Kyrian dual-wield for raw single target bosses w/Obliteration Talent. If boss fights have multi-target talent change and run BoS for cleave. Thoughts Bicep?

  12. Thanks for your content!
You said it's weakness is long single target fights (and mobility). How is Frost's state in Raid?
I'd pick Obliteration with Kyrian for my Raid setup.

  13. The everfrost conduit stacks 10 times and from what I read lasts for 8 seconds, does that mean you can have 100% uptime on that 10 stack debuff with gathering storm on single target? Assuming no movement and based on the available stats from 9.0 raid gear.
