The shadowlands beta is coming to an end and I revisited resto shaman in mythic plus dungeons. I’ve been surprised at how powerful it is and I wanted to make a video sharing my thoughts. Don’t forget to like and subscribe so that you’re notified of my new videos! Read more below:

  1. The Restoshaman was my first character and I still play it today. Chain healing and the totems are iconic. On top of it comes the ghost wolf and the armor sets just look cool. I also have every other healing class, but the shaman makes the most balanced impression on me.

  2. I hate to say this but every expansion that I’ve been part of since wrath, resto shaman stays strong in a profound manner..until that first patch or scaling screws them. They start real and end an expansion hardly touched. It’s a shame.

  3. Just a question: I hate Cloudburst with a burning passion and I go with Downpour since Legion because I really liked the weapon's trait back then. Does that conduit also work with the normal healing stream totems?

  4. Healing power isn't really something that matters a whole lot in m+ I feel. Every healer can heal every key for the most part, after that it just comes down to other utility. Lack of external doesn't just affect a tank, it means you have no external for anyone in the group. Also weaving in meaningful damage while healing seems clunky, you can see at start of the video you do a huge trash pull with BL and you're not doing ANY damage.

  5. Amazing. I really want to play healer this expansion but there's a good chance I'll need to switch at times to DPS and I want to mainly play M+. Such a relief because I really hate SPriest or any DPS Druid. Was a really difficult decision but that just made it easy! I love Shammy healing

  6. Nice vid!! Could you maybe release a guide on level up heal toons regarding conduits and etc? Is it worth leveling heals or should we change to DPS? Wouldn't we lack endgame power if so? Thxxxx

  7. I just can't really see rsham dethroning the tree in top-level keys while we're still squishy; ankh every half hour, astral shift, and nature's guardian just doesn't compare to bear form on demand, barkskin, self-ironbark, and the option to talent into even more survivability with bear affinity and heart of the wild. Not to mention all of druid's mobility, utility, and damage. Still, if we wind up a solid mid-tier m+ choice that'll be a major improvement relative to Legion and BFA, and I'll hardly be complaining.

  8. tbh resto shaman is not good in pug cuz u cant make sure ppl stack together, and when they dont its really pain in the a to heal the big aoe dmg..but if u have a mythic team, its one of the best healer!

  9. Hello growl. i am using your resto druid vuhdo frame and weakaura and its amazingly working for me. I wonder maybe you could give me the link of your resto shaman weakaura and vuhdo loadout so that i use them as well for my resto shaman. I would be very thankful if you do that for me

  10. After all of these years, I am surprised that they have not made all healers base mechanics viable in all game aspects (ie. dungeon, raid, mythic+). It sucks putting in so much time in a healing class only to be never selected for a dungeon because your class is just that bad and they can bring this other class because their overall healing is soooo much better. So here we are another expansion and we have our nose against the screen non stop tracking which healer is going to be viable so we feel worth while in this wonderful game of already low healers vs dps vs tank game.

  11. i find it strange how at the start of beta everyone's been like "resto shammans are te worst healers for m+" and through these months we've seen only NERFS for resto shamman and now just before SL launch shammans are potentially BiS for m+?
I just don't get it, how did we get from "shamman sucks" to "shamman rocks" with just nerfs in between. Is the community perception that strong or is the majority of top players massive idiots that couldn't even fathom seeing resto shammies as an actually decent m+ pick?
