This video explains how prot warriors, all while thunder clap has been nerfed, will have the ability to play roughly the same way as in BFA with the use of one key legendary being Thunderlord.

Basically booming voice/unstoppable force + Thunderlord and a little bit of haste will provide us with hours of thunder clap spam.

This is my first real video made in quite a while, so I hope it’s not too terrible!

What really annoys me about Condemn is that A) the damage mit doesn't scale as well as Ignore Pain per rage cost until you get the Conduit upgraded and have more than one mob within radius and B) it takes a GCD, which messes with Unstoppable Force big time and seems to require you to take Devastator for flow and C) it's only single target with no modifiers. It's questionable in trash packs/M+ even though single target damage scales in trash packs, D) no Massacre or Sudden Death in Prot, E) it completes with Ignore Pain and dilutes the value of the Ignore Pain Conduit and talent and F) it seems mandatory for any Prot PVP or multispeccing DPS.

  2. Not only thunderclap shieldslam dmg is low too and they nerfed the last line talent that used to increase the shieldslam dmg while using your shielblock way to take out the fun for prot warriors

  3. I wouldnt say Revenge was a filler.. it was the only way you could spread multiple deep wounds as prot.. and impeding victory is nice yeah 30s 30% health heal. But the new talent in that row heals 1% every 10 rage spent. 100 rage is a 10% heal you will be healing way more than 30% in a 30second window. With the mitigation abilities you already have as prot warrior the passive healing is like a decent second wind which would be awesome if arms has it. And rumbling earth is still better you get a 15s aoe stun and you still have fear which glyphs makes them tremble instead of flee so you can get multiple aoe interrupts. I've Main prot since vanilla and done +20 keys as prot in bfa the lower aoe stun with aoe fear is by far better then getting a single target stun. You will have other players that will have stuns aswell plenty enough to chain stun cc. This is just from my experiences playing as prot warrior. I'm sure it would still be good either way.

  4. the first talent "war machine" is crap, it generates 1 more rage. on the other side, punish is much more powerful. +20% more dmg is a nice to have, but the stackable 3% (chance to 6 – 9% dmg reduction" is way better than 1 rage more per autohit. (normally 2 rage, with talent 3 rage..)
