As Battle for Azeroth ended, the forsaken influence in the Eastern Kingdoms significantly diminished. Sylvanas departed for the Shadowlands, Undercity was plagued and destroyed and the Horde is now barely present in the area.

At the same time the Alliance conquered back Stromgarde, Gilneas is rebuilding and they made a significant foothold in Northend Tirisfal Glades. Even more importantly a member of Lordaeron nobility Turalyon is now leading the Alliance and most of the plaguelands were cleansed by now.

So what is the possibility that Lordaeron will be restored after we finish our work in the Shadowlands.

  1. I think Lordaeron is gonna be a central neutral hub. Since Lordaeron was the original capital city of the eastern kingdoms if I remember right and Calia is the rightfull ruler by birth right and the last remaining Menethil alive well sort of alive lol,of Lordaeron.Shes gonna take over and she is also is one of the oldest alliance familys but also the new leader of the Forsaken so i'm guessing those 2 reasons would make Lordaeron a huge central neutral hub. Come to think of it this opens up a whole new era in WoW I'm getting alot of ideas but ofc I'm not gonna share them here cause blizz ain't gonna pay if the like my ideas lol!

no.1 She is one of the oldest alliance familys and still loyal to the alliance.
+no.2 She's now the new leader of the forsaken.
    = Nuetral city.

  2. I feel a lot of people forget or don't know. All the scarlet crusade members are survivors of lordaeron that once served primarily under arthas. After his betrayal is when they become so bent on killing all undead and wiping out the infection that razed their homeland. Granted we killed the majority scarlet crusade zealots in dragonblight and icecrown during WOTLK. I can only wonder how many of the scarlet crusader's didn't fall to undeath and are responsible for forming the scarlet brotherhood.

  3. Looking at this kinds of videos makes me miss when if you're aliance or horde meant something. When races meant something. When big cities meant something. It used to felt cool being a part of something big and amazing.

  4. as a long time fan of warcraft has a horde player and fan i would love to see that city come back to life like we get done with the shadowlands SW has fallen again to the horde or something like that and the alliance moved back to lordaeron.

  5. I could see The Horde trading Lordaeron with The Alliance for the right to be the ones to punish Sylvanas for her crimes against Azeroth while The Forsaken relocate to The Shadowlands as they originate from The Shadowlands while The Alliance rebuilds Lordaeron and Gillneas

  6. Considering that the Forsaken are now being led by Calia Menethil, Arthas sister, idk how the Alliance could justify taking Lordaeron. I mean Calia was the PRINCESS of Lordaeron, with the rest of her family gone, she's the rightful ruler/owner of the city and surrounding lands.

  7. I have theory that necromancy isn't magic to call the undead rather its power to reshape realm of living into Shadowlands image and Azeroth has been reshaped a bit because of it. But at the end of Shadowlands all taint will be gone from Azeroth by closing the rift in Icecrown and all scourge will be no more and forsaken might be pured and become ordinary humans. Blizzard dont have enough balls to do so i guess

  8. I've been waiting to retake Lordaeron since i played Warcraft 3, but sadly is too obvious that now Calia will be the new leader of the Forsaken and she will take Lodaeron, Actiblizzard taking easy and disappointing ways since cataclysm.

  9. Seems unlikely unless the forsaken join the alliance. The forsaken are the people of Lordaeron after all.
Sure the Alliance could probably conquer the land but then what? 90% of the population of Lordaeron is undead or forsaken at this point, they'd have to settle Lordaeron with people from other human kingdoms and since those human kingdoms have also been hit hard by the events of the last half a century they don¨'t have the extra manpower to spare to settle Lordaeron.

  10. here is my take on this, they said time moves different in the shadowlands…. so we are more then likely having a time jump….. now lets have a look of who is in charge on azeroth…..

    1. gen graymane (second war veteran)
    2. turalyon (first and second war veteran)

Turalyon is the regent of the throne…..which means he is the boss…. from the first and second war i would not be shocked if the world is updated like cata again (its been 10 years after all) so here is my predictions….

    1. Gilneas gets reclaimed when we are in the shadowlands
    2. Lorderan may get reclaimed and or restored
    3. Silvermon MAY get sacked to may not i'm not sure

when we have the wohle void vs light 10 xpac… which someone mentioned that the dark portal turns yellow and all the forces of light from the AU version of dreanor come pouring through and basically join turaloyn

    remember Whispers of Il'gynoth

    – The king of diamonds has been made a pawn. (magni no one else it could be) probably linked to azerite

    – The golden one claims a vacant throne. The crown of light will bring only darkness. audiun is in the shadowlands who is in charge? mr first and second war paladin… remember the scarlet crusade? and (play the maghar intro quest for allied races and you'll see what i mean)

thats my take away from this

its going to be cata 2.0 with a world update or partial world update, and alliance will have that "division" blizzard mentioned from BFA (gen, tural the nightelves and the dwarves on one side.) and team shadowlands on the other side

    what i want to see…
    1. Sentinal hill fully built
    2. the night elves get all thier land back
3.Gilneas restored and loderan as well
    4. plaguelands restored
    5. ironforge/shadowforge/aerie peak and area updated

  11. I get the desire, but “reclaim” always seemed really presumptuous and cruel to me given the actual citizens of lordaeron were still living there as the Forsaken. This is really just an invasion under the guise of “reclamation” because humanity doesn’t respect the rights of the true owners.

  12. Alliance has no claim on Lordaeron. It belongs to its people witch are the Forsaken but considering Blizzards writing they will probably give it them. They should give them Quel danas and durotar also while they are at it. So glad i stoped playing this dead game.

  13. Lordaeron should be restored by Calia for Undead (the can renew undercity part of Lordaeron) and also by Human refugees on the other side lead by Anduin (with toleration of Scarlet Crusade they will control upper part of City). By this reason it has to be neutral city, like Dalaran, which should be returned to Hillsbrad, the score will be = two big neutral cities for both faction + Gilneas and Silvermoon should be rebuilt by Alliance and Horde as a main capital cities in Northern Eastern Kingdoms. After defeating Jailer there will be a best opportunity to redesign this whole region, same for "Eastwald", which has already begun.
