  1. What can we say this is how it goes when you are just good like that. You have a good understanding of something even before it happens. I mean anyone with a braincell can see the game has been on a downhill slope for years.

  2. I've been watching Asmon for many years, before Twitch and before his YouTube fame, but Asmon is starting to get political as many influencers do when they reach high amounts of viewers. Because of this, it is time to move on.

  3. Yall fanboys always think a new expansion on WoW is "pretty good" until the hype of having new content dies down. Then you all realize yet again that you're devoting all that time to a trash game made by devs that don't give a shit about any of you. At least until the next expansion rolls around and then its back to the whole "this expansion could save WoW" and "this looks pretty good" sentiments. Yall WoW fans are just as bad as all those Warzone fanboys. Lmao

  4. Asmongold how dare you blame the EU government for blizzard's inadequacies? Bobby clearly has a vendetta against EU players. Maybe we haven't contributed enough for his next yacht, I don't know. Clearly, there is a conspiracy here and I can't wait for Mr. Jones to crack it wide open. I'll be waiting for your apology video once you recover from blizzard's kool-aid, Asmongold! :p

  5. And here we see the WoW pleb cycle perpetuating as normal. Break the cycle, dont buy it.
Current Exp is bad > Get excited for new Exp > Pre-order Exp > Have fun at launch > Quickly get bored > Current Exp is bad

  6. so true concerning the talk about logistics and boss pulling stuff in wow, its like bad manners to "be bad" even tho you wasn't trying to intentionally, but something got fucked and now everyones time got wasted and youre not getting it back. It was the game beeing a fucking ass at the perfect time sometimes lol. Like people rather leave and hope for a better group then trying to conquer the challange together is just, kind of unique imo. Its a stark contrast especially when compared to ffxiv where people kind of treat you like a baby if you did wrong and like here have a cookie and some head pats and lets try again hakuna matata friend. Its just way more fun to learn things cause you had a positive experience learning it and maybe a friend or two if lucky. I have actually seen more of this now in wotlk classic and its a way more appealing game to return to because of it, ignoring the GearScore religion ofcourse. Miss me with that elitist gatekeeping attitude hun uwu 🙂

  7. This stuff is why I'm really skeptical of the hype around Dragonflight. Every expansion is cool and fun at the start, but after a few months people start to really notice what's really wrong with an expansion.

  8. I will say that I came back in BFA. Over the course of bfa, I started fresh. Made and leveled all the way up from scratch, a minimum of one of each class. Shadowlands, I think I leveled up my main to 60, and that was it. I will say partially that I did not like the "vibe" of the expansion as much so that might have something to do with it. I'm enjoying Dragonflight so far and am almost to 70 on my main. I think I'm going to immediately jump into a couple alts once i get renown 10 reps. As to how this expansion will be in the long term? Will just have to wait and see

  9. ATTENTION GUYS DON'T PLAY DRAGONFLIGHT!

Dragonflight is the same as shadowlands. Played like 6 hours of it, and already refounded. Same shit, full of borrowed power and chores, and mandatory grinds. Also saw like no players whatsoever, so my calculations are that about 500 000 people are playing this game. Which means Dragonflight might be the last expansion, let's hope it is!

  10. His comments about Shadowlands must have been blinded by a dislike for BFA, the covenant system was literally a system designed to keep you logging in, and not a system that was just fun.

Personally I didn't like SL even at launch. I played for about two weeks, realized it was the same as BFA but with covenants instead of a dumb necklace, and quit.

  11. The big problem with Shadowlands was content drought. The gate keeping in the expansion was to intentionally lock players behind from rushing out and doing all the content fast. But ironically, that gate keeping still pissed off a lot of people.

And no torghast isn't everyone's cup of tea, yeah, there was something to do every week, but not everyone wanted to grind it or slowly find souls for your covenant in the Maw unless you were a druid, a shammy, or a worg.

Shadowlands, to me, didn't get good til Zereth Mortis.
Now, could we blame Covid for the content drought? Partially, yes. Flying could have been unlocked sooner imho, even in Korthia, not being able to fly "cause its part of the Maw" logic is dumb. We should have been able to fly in The Maw regardless.

  12. Dude, you have really changes over the last 2 years.! I have always liked you but I really like how more confortable you look over your streams, also super honest about your take on any topic. I know these have not being the easiest times for you, but glad to see how your personal growth impacts your professional growth in such a positive way. Cheers 👋

  13. 43:43 I actually disagree with Asmon on this point, friction isn't always necessary, or makes games better… but if done right it can. I think wasting your time IS a fitting punishment for dying in a game, if there is no loss at all, then who cares if you fail?
