  1. nah this game is just on its last legs…everyone is going to look forward to UE5 games now. Also they catered to the Hardcore player and are wondering where all the casuals went? F blizz. Lay in the bed you made.

  2. The thing I think people are missing is that we are at the end of the season, this is when you take a break from wow, at least for the hardcore players (who are typically twitch viewers). The casuals are eating well in the Forbidden Reach. But they're not the ones sitting on a wow stream for 8 hours.

  3. For me, i've been losing interest in Retail WoW for many expansions as it gradually deviated further and further away from its original ''classic'' philosophy, Shadowlands was just another nail in the coffin that's been building for over a decade, nothing else. Dragonflight is the expansion where the ''spark'' finally died for the most part, the game is a tiny bit better….but still too many things i hate about Retail overall.
My biggest issue is, and has been for ages, that everything is streamlined, overly-convenient to absurdity, no time/effort investment that would grant a sense of ''reward'', of accomplishment(as it does in classic). leveling is rushed and pointless(intentionally by Blizzard). Classes are all homogeneous, just different ''skins'', no niche roles or gameplay/utility. For the longest time i kept myself distracted with collecting transmoggs, mounts etc…but burned out from that eventually.
I've played WoW for 2 decades and what Dragonflight showed me is that WoW that i fell in love with is just not there anymore, the game just feels soulless and depressing. It's why i only play classic…for that fundamental/true RPG feel it used to give…and it does.
The way the game used to feel overall, it's irreplaceable, it feels good to play from level 1 all the way to max. Same reason why RPGs like WItcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 are so appealing to me as well – immense gameplay value from start to finish.

  4. I just feel like I don't have time for WoW anymore. Plus it's starting to feel unreasonably expensive given the options these days.
Everything in WoW was so grindy throughout all of Legion, BFA, and Shadowlands that I just can't be bothered anymore.
I wish I could just log on, do some dungeons, maybe level a profession while waiting for friends and head out.
Every time I meet someone new and we start talking about gaming they say they love WoW but most people can't justify the price.
Maybe Blizz should do like $8 for Retail or Classic, and have $15 if you want both…
