  1. Hybrid class could make parties complicated in contrast to designated class that performs best for their roles.
im excited, like a newborn relearning things and with how my team will synergize.

it does offer a dynamic and in-depth gameplay variety and gives importance to individuality. seems(?) beneficial for small parties or solo?

  2. They shud have just doubled down on Hardcore. I was excited about season of discovery at first but actually who cares when really Classic is just about Nostalgia.
I stopped levelling up my orc in retail when i realised the canyon in durotar was flooded cos of cataclysm. Ruined my nostalgia for vanila wow pre cataclysm that i had been riding on
They shud make harder levels of dungeons in hardcore (like wailing caverns Hard, Very Hard and reward u with better and new gear) and put in bosses related to the original story of those dungeons. (But keep the normal modes the same as classic so the non-nostalgia is optional). It would flesh out the classic world and story and make an interesting dynamic as the better gear wud make further levelling a bit easier.
Maybe even make an option where once you clear you can vote on running it again with 5% harder mobs but 5%better drops! Thatd be awesome! If everyone votes yes you do it again. Wud be an awesome gambling mechanic moxed with perma death. COOL. Then if you run it like 3 times in this way you get some awesome cosmetic gear as well that proves you did it.
Man i wanna play hardcore right now

  3. Saying "can you hold aggro?" without using a threat meter… most classic mobs reduces or delete tank aggro after kicks and spot can resist. So watch your threat meter noob. 😀

  4. I'm curious about twisting mechanics in SoD.
Although, at 7:41, you say the new SoM cannot be twisted, it seems to me that the problem is in SoC, as it might be canceling other seals.
Further into the video, e.g. at 11:15, you change SoR into SoM and for a moment both are up. However, the same does not happen at 12:42, when you change from SoM into SoC. Maybe the play will be to SoR into SoM? I hope so, as I love the seal twisting mechanic.

And is it me or is SoC having a 100% chance to proc throughout the whole video?

  5. So, lots of streamers seem to be saying runes will be able to be easy gear swapped out of combat to "change spec" mid-fight… I really kinda hope this isn't true b/c you will then have players wanting their BIS items 2-3x for easy rune swapping use while not having to drop to mediocre gear. Do we know for sure if this is possible? no vids from Blizzcon seem to check that i've seen. Another thing idk about is if things like talents will def stay completely unchanged… part of me likes no change, but another big part says with the rune changes, some talent changes make sense, but it's very possible considering no PTR b/c they want a fresh day 1 experience, that they wouldn't drop things early to us like talents to be able to figure out and try to theory craft before every playing the game.

  6. Surprisingly way less excited about it after watching this. Thank you for the video. Confirmed my suspicion that it’s going to be a homogenized experience. I know people live wotlk, but I’ve always found it incredibly boring.

  7. Paladin tanks can still be crushed and crit at level 25. A paladin that invests in the full defensive line of runes will be auto attacking, so Divine Storm, Hand of Reckoning, and Exorcism is probably the best setup. Warriors can also be crushed and crit, so we'll see how dual wield devastate works before I judge them as they really don't get new defensives other than Tclap in d-stance. Bears made out much better; they'll take 20% less damage than current bears and will never be crit, and with a windfury/mangle cat druid in the raid they will be able to stack lacerate on a mangled target, and may still be able to farm MCPs with help. Bears are looking really good.

  8. I'm not even worried about DPSs so much, just excited to see how viable ret paladin is and how much fun it looks overall. I don't play WoW much anymore but with the 25 cap this seems approachable for the casual dad-gamer.

  9. "Bottom Line: Making warriors less OP. Making everyone OP." I'm diggin' that; it's all about player skills, not some busted OP class like Warriors are in Vanilla. Pumped for the Season of Discovery! Looks like a blast! 💥🤙🏼
