what keeps wow above any other mmo still now. Supperior endgame to any other mmo, better pvp and better pve. Final fantasy, guild wars, swtor wins in casual department, but when you want real quality in endgame content, its wow, others just dont compare with it, and i say as person who plays all 4.

Man, there is SO MUCH lore throughout all of this, it's a hundred times more epic when you know the story and the timeline.
its never too late to start with wow, but if u do end up trying it out, ill recommend u start with either Wow classic or wow classic wotlk expansion, since retail tend to scare new players away because they get thrown so much in the head.. also if u read wow books and follow up with game lore etc, its a really good story..
you NEED to watch the Warbringer movies(all 3 of them). they are a different style, but are amazing. "You failed at Yggdrasil" – you will see in Sylvanna's movie.
It depends on who is fighting in the TES vs WOW world, but I'd say it'd be pretty even, with a lot of the daedric lords and aedra and legendary mages taking out a lot of the big bads of wow for the most part.
EXCEPT Sargeras, The Dark Titan from wow who would wash the entire TES universe himself.
Classic to cata, only good expansions gameplay wise.

The second lich king (guy with flowing blue eyes) is not the same one, the one that resurrected the dragon was called arthas, this guy is called bolvar, the reason that bolvar was wearing the helmet was because "there must always be a lich king" so someone had to take it after arthas died.
