With the release of Wrath of the Lich King, many people are playing as World of Warcraft’s newest class, the Death Knight. And if you’re anything like Nixxiom, whenever you’re playing WotLK on that DK, you often find yourself turning on a playlist of Death Knight themed music, along with some sort of ambient track in the background to accompany it. How annoying it is though to always have to find the perfect World of Warcraft music, however! And how burdensome to find a good ambient track that reminds you of Icecrown Glacier, the base of operation for the Lich King. That is why we made this video: One Death Knight music playlist to rule them all.

Wrath of the Lich King is World of Warcraft Classic’s 2nd expansion, bringing to the game Death Knights, Northrend, Arthas Menethil as the Lich King, new professions and more.   1. I listened to this video on loop last night while my guild and I were raiding Naxxramas. And it was beautiful. I hope that this little side project of musical tunes brings joy to some of you this holiday season! And by joy I mean death, decay, pestilence, and disease. Because, ya know, Death Knights and stuff.

  22. IN OG WOTLK a buddy of mine would listen to Epic Sax guy on the 10 hour loop whenever he was grinding the current raids. This Wrath of the Nixxiom mix is also I nice touch. Thanks for the memories Nixxiom!

  34. That login music was the best companion you could ever ask for. Back when the login music was still relevant because of the queues lol. Even if not relevant now, I wish they could pull of such an epic score again.
