  1. At least you were honest about your Dwarf bias.
As a child I was an alcoholic, and the Dwarf 1-10 experience was my least favourite by far, vastly preferred the others.
It's ridiculous how much higher quality the Human starting zones are than the rest in Vanilla.
Heard a rumour that it's because they started there, and had to cut content from the rest, which if true, explains a lot.

  2. tirisfal glades is the fastest leveling zone you always hit level 12 before you can even finish the quests its just the fastest and he made a video rating the best lol
Edit to say his favorite zones are the pretty ones

  3. I am horde purist and for the Durotar… yeah, kind agree. Durotar has some nice quests and is fairly quick to go trough tho, but what counts the most, it´s straight up next to barrens, which I love to my hearth. Mulgore is sublime.

  4. Surprisingly cosy vid. I must have done Elwynn Forest at least 50 times. I quite like the idea of coming out from a grave in Tirisfal Glades, but I think they could have done more with the zone itself. It's kinda grey and bland.

  5. Logistics wise – Human, Orc and Troll have the best starting zones. By this I mean, Humans have immediate and close access to multiple common leveling zones that can get them to level 30 before having to enter faction shared zones. Simiarly, Orcs and Trolls (and Tauren in a way) have immediate access to Durotar and the Barrens, which allows them to level in a very faction favoured zone.

Undead starting zone is decent because it aligns well the theme of the race and they also have quick and easy access to Durotar/Orgrimmar via Zeppelin.

Night Elves (my favourite race) however, is an amazing starting zone and is great experience while leveling to 12 or 13. The main issues is that following that you either need to continue questing in Darkshore to level 20 or so, but then face the reality that they will inevitably be forced to catch a boat ro Menethil, run to Ironforge, then tram to Stormwind in order to join the rest of the Alliance. This is quite painful, annoying, and a waste of time if you are unable to get a port or summon.

If we are only ranking starting zones for the level 1 to 12 experience my list woiuld be – Teldrassil, Elwynn, Durotar, Tirisfal, Mulgore, Dun Morogh.

  6. Elywnn has a really annoying walk from West to East and you have to make that trip at least 2 or 3 times, I'll never understand why people prefer that starting zone. Durotar has you going North, then East and West before North again to Ogrimmar. You can also go South and do the troll quests for some extra xp if you don't want to enter the Barrens early, and nothing feels like a long walk until you go past the Harpys to Ogrimmar and even then its not as bad as walking to the logging camp from Goldshire. I think Durotar is the best in the base game.

  7. I admire this attempt but the thumbnail says SOD starting zone tier list. Not only haven’t you leveled a class through each zone in SOD it comes off as your just an Alliance fanboy. I have played Classic for 20 years and am working on my 4th 25 right now in SOD. Regardless of release Ellwyn and Mulgore are S tier. Tirisfal, Dun Morogh, and Teldrassil could be argued as S tier. Durotar is a solid zone with good quest flow but probably A or B tier at best. If you haven’t played through them it’s probably best not to rate them to be taken seriously.
