Great reaction 🙂 Cant wait for other warbringers videos …
Lords of War and the Harbingers are also great. Gul'dan is a masterpiece.
As a tiny clarification. Before being turned undead by the Lich King(yup you got that right) she was a High Elf(human-like skin tones, you might also hear about the blood elves, which are the high elves that joined the Horde) and the other one was a Night Elf(purple-ish skin, yea, there are a loooot of types of elves in the warcraft universe).
Also, great vid as always. You're doing great! ^^
Hello Hya! Love your reactions, and love you Warcraft reactions twice as strong 😁 The guy name René Hüftlein already gave you the main trailers list, and I just wanted to complete it by the another great warcraft vids like this one
You already started the Warbringers series, so there are two more of this:

Maldraxxus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wtDhxtx14c
Revendreth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM90NNF3oMw
Besides, there a plenty of amazing ingame cinematics, that can reveal you the story throughout the every expension and what happening with the characters in it. For example, what happens between BfA cinematic and meeting Anduin and Saurfang in the prison; how the Lich King was defeated, etc 🙂 And if you want to go even deeper in this universe, they are amazing cinematics of Warcraft 3. They are even older than the first WoW trailer, but still looks amazing. They are about the Lich King Arthas, "the second big green orc" Thrall, Illidan etc. Can do the lists of those another time, if you interested 😊
Such a wall of text came out 😁 Anyway, keep it up!
Really like your Reactions i can just recomend the harbingers / warbringers and afterlife series and if i may request please do warbringer azshara or afterlife bastion next 🙂
Yeah, War of the Thorns was a helluva time to play, especially as a Horde player…
Sylvanas was a fierce and ruthless commander when she was alive. But when Arthas cut her down with Frostmourne, her soul got scarred. Only the ruthless remained.
This was what you saw at the beginning of Old Soldier when Saurfang told her "There is no honor in this. They will come for us now. All of them!"
That tree was Teldrassil, one of the World Trees and the home/capital city of the Night Elves, and it is… massive isn't even an adequate description. There are mountains in the game that aren't as tall as Teldrassil. Even in the game you can see it from what are effectively miles away. There's literally a full on city on top of it. It's why the entire Alliance was outside the gates in the Battle for Azeroth cinematic. Because she really did destroy a capitol city and killed thousands upon thousands of civilians. It was such a serious occurrence that even in the game it completely changed the landscape as it used to be a place you could go to, and that Night Elf characters started in. But you can't go there any more.
Arhuas,the lich king~
the "coolest" guy in wow~
with the Frostmourne at Frozen Throne
blz pls buff Arthas now~
The War of the Thorns was one of the defining moments of World of Warcraft, leading to a more open and brutal war between the Alliance and the Horde.
In the past, the factions were always strong and evenly matched, but the previous war against the Burning Legion (a fearsome demon army seeking to destroy the world), weakened both factions.
So when the Horde attacked the night elves, the Alliance didn't have the time or the strength to help there immediately. Some little renforcement was sent to them, and the night elves bought as much time as possible, but it wasn't enough.
When Teldrassil, the world tree so precious to the night elves (their capital being at its summit), thousands of innocent people died, as well as a veritable genocide.
And in another part, It morally diminished the night elves and reduce their faith. Because Elune, their dear moon goddess, did not save them.
By the moons’ glow, listen.
Beside the river, listen.
Holding those you love, listen
To the cries of the dying,
To the whisper of the wind over the silent dead,
To the song my broken heart will ever sing
Of the story of the Tree of the World
And the death of all the dreams
It once cradled in its mighty boughs
Some people will tell you this was out of character for Sylvanas. I have to remind them that this isn't even the first nation she's wiped off the map.
she used to be morally grey but then the WoW writers unfortunately turned her straight up evil.
My queen idk why she did it
So if you really want to know a lot more about Sylvanas and how she was before? her family and most of the tragedy she went through, buy the audio book called Sylvanas, its voiced by the voice actor that plays sylvanas. Its an amazing story and gives a really good picture into who she was before all this, and give some context as to why she is like she is now.
U should react to her story in shadowlands extension
love your reacts. youre awesome.
the reckoning took place after this btw lol
Victory for Sylvanas!
"you need therapy Sylvanas" LMAO great reaction
i feel like it has to be said that sylvanas is still one of my favourite characters in the warcraft universe even if the writers did her dirty, but in the lore she wasnt doing that just to be evil or cruel, and she did have a purpose that in her mind was ultimately good for everyone in the long run, but thats also a debated topic
Sylvanas is still one of my favorite characters. they came out with a book about her, and the audio book is read by the voice actress…… so i had to listen to it, and was not disappointed
I remember when i saw this for the first time. My liver almost explodes of rage.
And at the end of that expansion almost happened again, because sylvanas escaped, so we necer we were able to loot her, and of the hideous ending.
Nzoth the best character got a miserable ending
Lady Sylvanas, Queen of the Banshee, leader of the Forsaken and in general just a fucking badass, is awesome.
I am glad to be a Forsaken.
PS: She is so much smarter than people give her credit for, always one step ahead. Hate her all you want, she will be right in the end.
I'm a little bit late, but I just binged all your WoW Reactions. I love that you dont just "react" to it, but you also remember stuff like you're genuine interested. Made me smile that you recognised the line from Saurfang (he stands there to and heard it, so the reckoning was an homage to the elf). These were refreshing reactions. Thank you
"Eyebrow lady?" XD
Actually, all of the elves of Quel'Thalas have brows like that.
Sylvanas is an undead Quel'dorei, a high elf. The dying elf is a Kal'dorei, a night elf. All of the current races of elves on Azeroth originated from the Kal'dorei thousands of years prior.
At the beginning of Warcraft 3, after his fall to darkness, Arthas as a Death Knight led the Undead Scourge north from Lordaeron up through the middle of Quel'thalas, the High Elves' homeland. There is still a gigantic dead scar right through the middle of their land from the undead's passing. Sylvanas was the Ranger-General of Silvermoon, and led the defense of the kingdom, much to Arthas' consternation, as she was very good and cost him much time. Eventually though, he was able to overwhelm her position and used Frostmourne, the runeblade that steals souls, to not just kill her, but to rip her spirit from her body and bind her to the Lich King's will as the first of the Scourge's banshees.
After Illidan began his attack on Icecrown and weakened the Lich King, she, along with many other of the Undead, broke free from his control and consolidated their position in Lordaeron (after tricking the last remnants of the human army to fight the remaining Scourge in a hopeless battle). She found her corpse and using her power as a banshee, she possessed it, reanimating herself, and becoming the Banshee Queen of the Forsaken, the free Undead faction separate from the Scourge.
The High Elves were an offshoot of the original Night Elven people, who left Kalimdor millennia ago and founded a new kingdom in the east, with their powers coming to them from the Sunwell (instead of moonwells like the Night Elves). That's why they look more human in coloration (except for Sylvanas now, because she's dead).
The tree they're standing in front of is the World Tree, Teldrassil, where the Night Elf capital of Darnassus sits high in its branches. Sylvanas has fought her way through the territory of Darkshore to the coast looking out on the Tree, and decides that in order to defeat the Alliance, she must wage what is known as "total war". No honorable combats between warriors, no rules of engagement, just the utter destruction of your enemy no matter who or where they are. She thinks to instill despair in the Alliance after the complete and utter destruction of the Night Elf nation, civilians and all.
The opening to BfA was so good, and on the Alliance side, you have to fly in to save as many as you can from the burning tree, but the quest goal is like 10000 in less than 3 minutes, obviously you can't, and it does a good job at getting you to really feel the frustration and futility in what you're doing, as well as enraging you at what the Horde has done, unprovoked. I wish they'd kept that energy up throughout the expansion, but alas :/
I honestly have to admit that Sylvanas really got on my nerves in Warcraft 3 and I was delighted when I defeated her and made her a banshee. But when I played the blood elves in World of Warcraft and stepped in front of Sylvanas to give her her sister's pendant and she then sang her song, I had to admit that it wasn't a nice feeling anymore, knowing that it was all my fault somehow was.^^
