Set pet to assist, not defensive. defensive wont attack unless manually told to, or you or your pet getting damaged, assist makes it always attack what you attack.
also: ever considered that runing around in giant circles isn't the optimal choice when there are enemies all around?
Try tapping your tab key or modify the tab targeting key bind and hopefully cycle through any near hostile mobs.
Put pet attack and pet follow on keys and you can send your pet and call it back then re attack to pull mobs . Have pet mend ready and keep pet healthy. BM spec is a lot about pet control, sadly pet AI is less than perfect.
Summoning different pets Grant's different pet buffs such as health or reduced healing, thus hunter often seek certain pets to tame, storing extra pets in the stables

Your bank has bag slots to expand it, so I would save bags until you unlocked all of the slots and filled them up. Then replace with bigger bags as times goes on.
In addition to the bag comment, the bank has a special 100 gold slot that is for crafting materials. It's a must buy if you horde any crafting materials. You'll be able to craft with materials in your bank too, which is very big help compared to older expansions. (Wrath Classic)

You should look into addons brother. Bagnon is amazing for bags, there must be a sell junk addon aswell, that can sell all your inventory junks with only one button pressed.
When it says that you have not unlocked an appearance yet, you MUST equip this item and soulbind it to you first, then unequip it to sell it, otherwise you kinda toss away the appearance and cannot change your gear to look like that later. (only if you get that appearance again, e.h. Auction house or random drops)
Treasure chests respawn so you can find them multiple times.
In your pet tab use mend pet which looks like a paw to heal pet. Also it can be spammed to heal multiple times. Click paw to open then go up to next paw to use
Hey there 🙂 just a little information as I saw you doing it for the second time now already and it hurts me seeing this 😀 When a gear item in your bag says "You haven't collected this appearance" in blue color, this means that it has not been added to your wardrobe yet. You can actually check this out by going into "Collections" in the bottom right corner and then into "Appearances". So even though you would not use the dagger as your weapon being a hunter, you could equip it only once which then adds it to your appearance collection and then you can swap it out for your main weapon again. And after that when the item no longer shows the tooltip "You haven't collected this appearance" you may then safely sell it at the vendor. If you would ever create a rogue in the future, it would then have that appearance already unlocked and you could use it for transmogging. 🙂 That's because such appearances are account wide.
And one other thing: When you want to compare a gear item in your bags against the item that you have equipped, you simply have to press the SHIFT key while hovering over the item in your bag. This puts both items on display and you immediately see the differences. 😀
I will not comment or give advice on playstyle, spell usage, rotation etc because I think you should discover those at your own pace as your skill progresses.
Some very basic pointers though which should helpful without messing with your playstyle are as follows:
– open from the interface menu additional bars, you will definitely need em.
– Use sidewalk instead of strafe in A and D (I think that's the default option), it's alot faster and will help a ton with kiting and overall movement. You can strafe while holding down your mouse button.
– play with max camera distance and check the command for raising the limit of max cam, it will help you get a better overview of your surroundings.
– Add a few more keybinds on your most frequently used abilities such as A, E, R, F etc. You might find those even more fluent to press than 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
Those tips might help you feel more comfortable with basic aspects (movement, keybinds etc) of the game so you can focus afterwards on improving your skill curve and playstyle depth.

Careful just vendoring greens willy nilly to a vendor. Always post them on the auction house first. Sometimes they'll go for thousands or tens of thousands.

If you ever want to play a Horde character, you should also record your experience since they get a very different leveling experience compared to Alliance players!

Use the dungeon finder tool to get queued up with other random players and be teleported to the dungeon. I really want to see you experience your first dungeon.
The creatures that are stars on your map are trainable to be your new pet if you like. They are just stronger than normal.
btw it is lovely when you go to rest and have a lovely view BUT if you log off in a inn or a major city you get rested bonus (double experience)

You'll need bags for your bank as well. The question mark is a quest to turn in, so you woudl probably get the nest series of quests in that location, exploring on your own will usually break you away from the flow of the quest chains, like exploring the south area first. Probably quests down there that won't appear until you do the other area first. The natural quest flow will pretty much always take you to all unexplored areas of the map.
Ahh, all those beast mobs that woud make good pets for the stable…alas. He's even running in beast master.

Loving this! This videos tip for new players is dont sell green weapons or gear to a vendor look at the description if it says bind on equip you can sell it to other players on the auction house if it says soulbound or binds on pick up you cant sell to others just vend if you don’t want it or disenchant if you have that profession also look at with shift or control and click (I can’t remember) you can see what it looks like, if it looks cool equip it to add to your collection and have it available to transmog, that will bind it to you though so sell to vendor after that

The rewards for exploring in wow is actually the rare mobs that you find, extra questlines and lore instead of chests. And honestly I prefer that over chests.
