As a FF14 player myself, I can relate to the lack of content by the end of a patch to the next expansion. The last patch will come out this month and besides the FF16 collab next month, we won't have anything until at least July.

You're right but it's a problem Blizz has inflicted on itself. The games designed so you gotta go get your dungeons, then you gotta get your raids, then you gotta farm your gumballs, then you need your ultra gumballs, then its a new seas so gumballs are out you need your jimmie power…. so when the game actually goes to downtime people Feel it.
There is no off season in SoD. It's booming. People leveling alts, taking journeys, 100 mount parades in Ironforge at 3am, making friends and partying up. There should never be an 'off season' in an MMO, if it's done properly. If it's done properly it's about the adventure, not an end point.

When I last played, legion, I felt like they had things in a good place. classes specs felt like they should, like you were that spec. not hir button till other button lights up. you could do content when and how you wanted. Got some game time last year and now its just do it fast, but its still not fast enough. the thing that has stayed with me was getting kicked from a time walking dungeon because i was messing around in disc. Every thing was going fine until no one did a mechanic and the boss spawned more things and the group wiped. but it was my fault for some reason even though i was killing ads. Bliz has lost direction and just pandering to the masses. no mechanics just make it so they can push buttons and kill things.

I think we are going through the Great Alt Gold Rush right now. Seems like there are more players on my server since DragonFlight first dropped.

I really really dislike all the speculative forced noncentent waffle about the war within, it has the potential to set a bad tone for the entire expansion because jason need to shill his raid shitshow legends ad revenue and his merch bar that has 3 premade tshirts.
I also avoid most core gameplay of Live WoW. I decided to lock two characters at level 50 and just quest to quest! With it being Offseason, I feel like the catchup mechanics and pre-patch are usually more fun than midway through a new expansion!.

people have made really big stretches on predictions for next expansions for like, ever. they try and make a 20 minute video out of stuff everyone else has seen, out of things everyone else knows, just repeating what the devlogs say and adding a little context but they stretch it out for soooo long
I love that Crendor's not even really a wow youtuber really (at least not in the way alot of others make it their life), hes just more of a player that occasionally post opinions that gives a more human (as opposed to overanalysed) voice to players. This man will live forever just doing his thing and i'm here for it.
