  4. One of my favourite ways to make gold is getting exalted on any single alt with all the various reps that sell pets at exalted, particularly the legion and wod reps. Then you can stock up on these pets, cage them on any character (the pets are account bound), and resell them on the ah for usually 10 times the cost of buying them from the vendor. What's cool is that you only have to go to the vendors after exalted, stock up on 3, cage 1 more, and then list 1 of them at a time at the ah. that way when you sell one, you can simply cage 1 of the 3 other pets you have in your pet journal and always have 1 of each pet up for sale and spend less time needing to go to the reputation vendors to restock. Its also a great way to help send gold to alts on other servers or the other faction since you only need 1 alt to get exalted to be able to cage the pet from any alt on your account. Proof that beyond the obvious benefits of farming reps for recipes for professions, reputation farming can be an excellent source of gold long term as well;
