  1. Definitely find it interesting more and more people are going away from "high performance" power plans and settings. Honestly playing on balanced I did lose a litte bit of 1% lows performance but I really didn't care about that. Overall my game runs smoother after changing to balanced and undervolting (not related just what I personally did) . Do you have any examples of the GPU normal power plan in action, are you seeing better boost clocks, what about GPU hot spot temps, etc, all relatively the same?
Thanks for the the video Mr. "French Canadian" =), appreciate the content!

  2. Do you think with compatibility settings on more work on your pc? Good thing or bad if trying to maximize pc life? I did gain about 50 fps with it turned on but my pc sounds louder lol not sure if that’s a good thing

  3. IT's just crazy that the game run worse with a 4090 than with a 2080. Bro you're playing on low settings everywhere with a 4090, you're at the human starting zone too, it's just crazy. I have a 4090 too and it run like garbage.

  4. bro pls help me
    I got a decent pc, rocking a 5800x3d with a 4070super
all up to date, all games run like hell, wow mostly also running fine with high fps
BUT in big Battlegrounds i can count the fps …
unplayable although i got "raid" graphic settings on ultra low

  5. Renderscale has been buggy for at at least 6 months now, halfs the FPS on my 4090 if i move it from 100%. Posted some comparisons on the official forum a while ago. DO NOT use the renderscale.

  6. Dude, fullscreen (Windowed) is same as Windowed.
they are both windowed.. other one is just "full screen" windowed. i bet the input lag is the same LOL. but in short, exclusive fullscreen support has been slowly fading away since dx12.

the game hasnt run on exclusive fullscreen for years LOL

  7. holy shit. pardon my French. I didn't even make any in game changes yet. Literally just changed all the settings you suggested from high performance to normal and I instantly notice a huge difference. Where I was perched in game when I exited, I had a max of maybe 70-100fps. Loading back in after the nvidia and windows settings changes, I'm around 170-200. Appreciate your video, Kephren.

  8. 98% scaling lmao wtf are you doing… Don't wanna be rude but that's flat out a terrible idea. You're losing image quality going from native to FSR and you're likely losing performance too since render res is basically the same. You also have a 4090 and have most settings on low at 1440p… I wonder what's your GPU usage like, I bet you could remove FXAA, use 2x msaa and up some graphics settings and get the exact same performance.

  9. hey i've got a GeForce GTX 760 – do you think this is still alright for TWW or is it time for an upgrade? – — also my shader cache size only has options of shader cache on or off no other settings?

  10. also after doing the game settings – my character started to look quite blury and fuzzy and i'm not sure what to change for that? – it's only when i'm zoomed all the way out which i normally play at, when i zoom in it looks fine? and when i zoom out some of my mount features and textures drop away?

  11. hi Kephren, my GPU and CPU are decent but I am getting no more than 50FPS in Dornogal and around 15FPS in high intense dungeons pulls. even if I turn my base game quality to 1 I still get this amount of FPS in game.
    CPU : I7-13700F
    GPU: RTX3060
    RAM: DDR4 32GB

  12. One huge thing missed here is addon cpu usage. They generally will have more of an effect on your FPS than any setting… so if you have elvui, plater, tons of WAs, and many other addons you are tanking your fps.

  13. Is it true that fps in wow are dependent on latency server n home? I have a 3080 n using ur settings n 32gb ddr4 3600mghz ram i5 12400f n in 25men or higher raids my fps drops below 40 sometimes n I see people with less latency near server with 1080 cards getting double fps in raids please help clarify
