I've been reading a Blizzard book series recently, with the storyline of how the Horde was created, and came to Azeroth after all but destroying Draenor. How Nerzhul fits in, etc. The storyline that first introduces Sylvanas as a elf ranger who helped the Alliance fight off the Horde in the second war. The creation of the undead and the death knights..definitely a way cool storyline. I never personally got into playing an undead, but you are correct the lore is some of the best in the game.
I know it's probably silly but I wish they would change the race name from Undead to Forsaken makes more sense. I can sum up Undead in one word BRAINS!!!
Undead do make great characters, I apparently made an undead SV that only takes undead, and changed it to BM due to how bored I got on him, but the best racial is touch of the grave
