Usually I’m not a fan of in-game cutscene music since they usually just take a ton of different themes and mash them together. It’s no different in this case, but I did find that they did it in a much more satisfying way here than was previously done. Like the tracks gel together much better and it doesn’t feel sloppy. Kudos to the music team for that.
For Anduin and Sylvanas, it seems to start out with the new Shadowlands death theme but then transitions into a unique track made specifically for the cutscene.
For Lilian and Calia, it seems to be a remix of “Forsaken Flame”. It’s both fitting and great since it uses my favorite part of that theme.
And for the last one, it’s a mix of the “Night Warrior Tides” theme from Chains of Domination and the “Souls of Darnassus” theme from 9.0. Fitting choices but I also like that they incorporate the duduk at the end of it since the duduk versions of the theme weren’t really used at all except for here.

There is only one ruler of the Forsaken, only one Dark Lady, only one I can proudly call Queen: SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER.
This Calia whom I never knew existed will never be crowned queen of the Forsaken, not for me, nor for millions of Forsaken players.
The Calia one is AMAZING
Hm, wondering if this theme at 1:55 is actually unique to this cutscene only or if it's a theme from 10.0 (or something from the future), since they had used a sampled version of the "Dark Lady" theme from 8.3 in some cutscene in 8.1. The Dark Lady theme wasn't even fully used until Shadowlands, in the cinematic with Sylvanas pointing Kingsmourne at Anduin, only the first half of it was used in a cutscene in 8.3. Making unique music for the in-game cutscenes would be a great thing, would make them feel more special.
