What healer would you recommend to a new player? 🤔
Love your videos!
I haven't tried druid yet but so far Paladin has been by far the hardest for me to pick up .
Hey Madz, what do you think the easiest healer to play for a new player? Your thoughts and opinions would be interesting in a video of some sort.
THIS IS WHAT NEW HEALER'S THINK:
* I'm a healer therefore I (only) heal
* You won't see me standing in melee range.
This leaves the player with 3 realistic choices, sham, droo, hpriest.
Then it comes down to a point and heal style healer a heal over time or a healer.
These choices have the biggest and easiest raid cooldowns because all that matters to a new healer is pumping the hps numbers.
There's comfort to be found in all 3 specs toolkits too, you have "Oh shit" buttons and a good mix of direct and aoe heals.
The logs right now show holy priest+ druid as the most represented in normal and heroic raid with the highest average score and highest throughput.
Your realistic choices when first setting out your healing life are druid and holy priest. This is until you have had some game time and start to understand how to heal, then you can branch off into disc priest or try out a pally etc and learn a complete new playstyle and mindset needed to take on their playstyles.
If you get 4 pieces of tier set as resto shaman u basically dont need to heal. Its pure damage time haha XD
Does any1 who is evoker is gonna be reactive proactive or melee?
Right now Holy paladin is very beginner unfriendly.
You said, there is a ranged mistweaver spec out there. Do you have a guide or link to that spec?
Never seen someone genuinely saying RDruid was even remotely hard to play lol. They're always the ones being bullied within guilds for being so darn easy to play on a high level.. Interesting take putting them together with Disc, or well.. above any healer at all xD
holy priest while its broken , even more in pvp
Just like you said, I was sitting on 3 set pieces waiting for a good drop for the 4th. I did exactly what you said and just completed the 4 set and it's glorious. Keys that were stressful are now easy mode.
also disc is almost unplayable during grievous wounds weeks
Imo hpriest is the easiest coz its reactive healer, with shaman you have to prepare cloudbursts at least.
On my Opinion about Druid your totally wrong…i'm playing druid and it's very Fun to play and very good ofc Holy priest its way much better on M+/ raid but yeah
Just a heads up: I think starting on S tier healers in your video and working your way down is going to hurt your viewer retention because a lot of people just want to hear the best healers and then click off the video.
I first played a Healer Class in WoW during MoP when i made my Pandaren Priest focused on Discipline.
At that time Disc was a great spec, Atonement was passively applied to teammates in a Dungeon/Raid wile you attacked, also, Power Word: Solance at that time was like Smite, it delt damage and restored 0.5% of the player's mana but didnt contribue to Atonement, still it was a great skill to have and use in place of smite so you could constantly spam it to keep your mana up and have mana available for your healing skills when necessary.
Due to the rotation i had made combining Solance with Celestial Star, i was able to do High DPS and Healing at the same time in dungeons. I still remember once in Old Hillsbrad dungeon me doing Top DPS and healing at the same time and players thinking i was hacking. :V
They later ruined Power Word: Solance , turning it into a replacement for Holy Fire with a 15 sec cooldown…
Currently i have felt distaste for Priest disc since i have to use some healing skill to apply atonement and its temporary…
I honestly enjoyed Disc Priest so much, but they kinda ruined the damage numbers too much so for me it got too difficult to play and doesn't pay off anymore or even be viable in m+
And I absolutely adored the Wotlk Disc Priest with all the shields and absorbs going on. I miss that way of playing.
Nerf Resto Shamans
I still play disc and can still time 20s with it :). I'm happy, tho it is definitely harder. I don't like holy priest, i tried.
Shadow for life! Never trust holy priests! Follow the shadow (disc) priests, they know the way.
I disagree this Time Bro, I find resto druid and pally easier than Holy priest AND shamans. Despite you not need Much research on them, these las two have many usable buttons AND for begginers can be hard to arrange AND know when and how to use all these abilities. With druids AND pallys you can heal effectivily with only 2 abilities.
lmao you are literally the first person to watch for everyone getting that itch again 😂
I watched this to learn some info before making a healer but dude
I could listen you talk All Day! Your accent is baller.
S Tier – Shaman / Holy Priest
A Tier – Paladin / Monk
B Tier – Druid / Disc Priest
I want to thank you for all the great information on the Resto Shaman healing. I currently main a resto shaman for our guild raiding and recently swapped out a few things using your guides. On top of that, I tweaked my talent/skills using some of your recommendations. Tonight we did Rygelon and managed to down him on our last pull of the night. I must say I am extremely please with how my healing went and want to thank you for all your suggestions. I ended in creasing my healing by almost half again as much as I had been doing. Changing my covenant was a big one and setting up my sequencing better to take advantage of my 4pc tier set, plus the Chain Harvest really made a big difference.
what addon are you using to show addons on your restoration shaman?
I fistweave in pvp successfully at 1800 cr rbgs and 1700 arenas. It's my favorite play style
This is perfect, I am getting back into healing and it's exactly what I was looking for.
NGL i hate that this is a tier list not just a ranking
i dont know why Holy Priest is in S tier ? he is meta class now BUT he is HARD to play when you see R Druid or SHammy. HPriest got 2x more buttons to press and if you do it not right its GG for group
What healer class has high burst aoe and dot heals. So something that can just keep popping heal overtime aoes. I'd also like to be able to shield my allies or mitigate damage somehow from them at least a little. But my main priority is to make sure there's a heal overtime going around on everyone so I don't have to be constantly worrying about others and I can just use a simple loadout and pop moves when I need too. I'm a very caring person and I want more than anything for others to feel encouraged, positive and comfortable and I'll do anything I can to help others with that. Helping, and giving to others is what I enjoy the most. But it would also be nice to find a healer that fits my playstyle so I can better help others. The only reason why I want to get strong in video and find a class that fits my playstyle is so I can help and project others in any way I can. So I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks for the information!
