The Cataclysm Leveling Challenge continues with Episode 3. This time, Nixxiom is off to Redridge Mountains to attempt to hit level 18. After finishing some of Darkshore in the previous episode, rather than continuing in the same old zone, Nixxiom just felt that experiencing more of what Cataclysm Classic has to offer would be the best option. Let the adventure continue!

  1. Cata redridge is one hell of an experience. Slaughtering gnolls with Rambo and Colonel Trautman in the huge tank. BTW, with Duskwood, I love Duskwood as much as you do, the cata version of duskwood is brilliant as well in my opinion, but take a tip from somebody who leveled his first character in MoP with the cata zones in the old leveling structure. You may find yourself unable to do any quests in Duskwood due to low level. Duskwood in cataclysm has the 20 – 25 level range. You may find NPC's with a lot of silver explanation marks if you go there at 18. But I may be wrong, memory is cloudy. I just have a gut feeling that you won't be able to do any Duskwood quests before lvl 20.

  2. Duskwood is my all time favorite WoW zone. I don't really play WoW much anymore, but once or twice a year I'll subscribe for a month just to create a new character and level them through Duskwood on retail (which usually takes less than an hour at this point…) and Classic. After that, I usually just stop.
