  1. i think you have missed the point of delves there for the single player experience the players like myself who dont do dungeons or mythics or raids its just how i and a lot of people play at 619 i can get on in the world and do what i want to do which is go level another alt and do proffs. no need for a higher item lvl

  2. you can easily solo 8+ delves you get easy 5 key a week without doing much so 5 nhc pieces without afford, there is just no way to make delves any harder that they should give out hc gear, delves are fine as what they are, casual content

  3. We probably just need to give them time. When Mythic+ first released (and for a while afterwards) you couldn't get the same ilvl gear as a mythic raider. Now if you can push high enough in the keys you can get equivalent gear. I think season 1 is a test run to get people geared quickly and see how delves are received. I suspect that future seasons will see harder solo content that rewards gear approaching mythic level, though if they take the same amount of time as Mythic+ we probably wont see it until The Last Titan.

  4. I dunno, maybe add some of the higher tier currency to 9+, but outside of that I think it's fine. As a casual with not much time to play I think it's almost perfect. I do my weeklies, I do a little farming/crafting, I do some delving between the main and the alt suddenly it's Monday. 🤷

  5. Eh i agree with the video. People who want this "casual" content cap will never get better and thats fine. We need a solo challenge which scales close to mage tower difficulty and provides gear/mats just under mythic for it.

  6. If Delves are meant to be a standalone endgame progression, then players should be able to reliably level cap the gear they get from Delves, by doing Delves.

Whether that means increasing Gilded Crest acquisition or removing Hero track from Delves, idk.

  7. The end game for a solo player in Delves is Zekvir ??. This is achievable with gear obtained 💯 through delves and crafted 619 gear. There is no need to higher level gear at the moment. I do agree however that getting that ilvl 616 and 610 hero track gear is pretty slow and it would be cool to have a more deterministic way to get it but currently this model kills people’s incentives to run low mythic+ and normal raids. I’m honestly okay with a lower tier of gear as long as the pinnacle solo challenge is still achievable. I don’t care if it’s easier for someone who earns a higher ilvl through group content because that’s exactly what’s happening now.

  8. The most disappointing thing for me was the huge nerf to the profane tinderboxes when they were still valuable.
Farming them in delves was a lot of fun for me and also a way to earn gold while doing solo end game content. 😐

  9. personally, i'm fine with Delve Gearing as it is now… if anything, the only thing i desire to change is the # of Crests dropped, from 2 to 3, so you can upgrade a piece of Gear in 5 runs, rather than 8.

  10. As someone with minimal WoW time, I find Delves refreshing. I have only leveled up to two characters at the start of any expansion until now. In War Within, I have leveled 9 toons, all at nearly 600 GS, thanks to Delves. While delves may not appeal to some, they serve a vital role for those looking for content that fits into a more flexible schedule. They’re a middle ground for solo players and those who want to keep progressing without committing to the rigors of organized group play. Ultimately, the balance between accessibility and challenge makes delves loved and criticized, depending on the player’s perspective. I enjoy them and hope they add more variety and make them less monotonous.

  11. As a only delves player, and it being the only reason i came back. None of these are problems im a solo player im not out there comparing my gear to other peoples. My character feels more powerful with the more gear i get and thats all i really care about. And quite honestly if they change delves to accommodate the try hard super optimization has 150 addons crowd i dont think i would play anymore.

  12. Think you should be able to purchase 1 bountiful map per week from the vendor IF you did not receive one naturally the week before (regardless if you bought one or not). Drop chances for map remain the same.

Crests should scale from bountiful chests 8=3, 9=5, 10=7, 11=9. Maps should be the tier you received it in or higher and scale rewards accordingly depending on what level you use the map in. That way it would give you a reason to do higher tiers.

Also, scale the gold reward… for the amount of gold in the treasure room on the floor and we pick up 5 piles of 7g… i mean really? Lol

Rotating cosmetics isn't a bad idea either like.

  13. Delves are fine…only people that seem to be complaining are people that either want more gear for other forms of progression or who want to gatekeep and prevent people from getting any Hero track gear from what they deem to be easier content. 619 and maybe 1 or 2 pieces beyond that if you get lucky with drops is fine for solo content. As for the remaining delve levels…well, each expansion typically has 4 seasons…there are 4 top levels of delves (8, 9, 10, 11)…so I bet that each season the next level up becomes the new top level delve for filling out the great vault, with rewards bumped up slightly.

  14. I do not think that Delves rewarding gear only up to champion track is a problem. The idea that you could acquire hero track or gilded crests without engaging in group content is absurd, and would actively disincentivize group engagement.
Delves are a great way to gear up to a respectable power level for a season, and if you decide to push into harder group content they're a fantastic way of reducing the barrier of entry.
If you hit that delve "gearing cap", you can successfully navigate the hardest delve tier without removing the challenge entirely. It's good, it's well designed, and it's fine.

This is not a problem. Delves aren't just fine, they're in a pretty good state. Ngl Dal, this is a bad take.

  15. Good ideas. I think a combo is good. I think a few more runed crests at tier 8, then once you're geared, go to 9 for guild crests, then hero gear and even more crests at 10 and finally highest gear at 11.

  16. I'm 100% on board with the ideal of gear scaling from delvs, most people don't have the time to dedicate to raid or to spam M+. Financially this makes sense for Blizzard because its not as intimidating as M+ or raid would be for newer players.

  17. Step 1) Make delves, mythic plus through +10 (tuning required), heroic raids, and conquest pvp gear all hero track and give roughly the same progression timeline to gear up to full heroic. Also, the best crafting gear you can craft from any combination of these sources is also hero track.

Step 2) Raise the crest rate for all three pillars mentioned in step 1 so upgrading hero track gear can be done in a reasonable amount of time. All hero track gear becomes upgradable to the full 626 ilvl with ruined harbinger crests.

Step 3) Now that everyone who puts in the average amount of work can get to 626 in any content that they like, mandatory broken wow systems like LFG toxic pugging are now a thing of the past. For 80% of the player base, throw in some extra achievements and transmogs etc. to to pad seasons and your done.

For hardcore sweaty types, now you have your 626 gear; if you want mythic gear to ilvl 639 then you can do mythic +11 and higher, or mythic raid content the old fashion way. Join a sweaty guild full of sweaties or descend into the hell of high level LFG pugging, show us all your are our betters. If your a sweaty guild looking to recruit, now you have a huge population of ilvl 626 people standing on the edge of mythic content to choose from, some of which just need a little push to become as sweaty as you.

FFS Blizz, you are digital McDonalds…Offer a wide variety of meals and let the customers decide. Don't force fish sandwiches down peoples throats, and definitely don't gatekeep gear progression because the McRib fanboys say there is only one true way.
