I did this until I swapped to mining. Then I did the other wing of DM and solod all the bosses using ledges and other things while spamming drain life and life tap just for those sweet sweet arcane crystals
There was also a point during the WotLK expansion where you could attempt to solo level 60 Ony. It was not easy and it took me like almost 2 hours but it is so cool having that achievement. Especially because it is no longer attainable.
Yup definitely remember doing this Dont remember people soloing it though but definitely used the method when you got a group of lower level characters
Used the shrooms while doing that grind for the dagger to stack my shadow power pots with my flasks for raid. Buff stacking was lit back then. I could prob do DM east with my eyes closed still lol

Dm was better for gold unless you sold the epic blade to mages from mara.

I soloed BFD a few times and Strat many times but never this boss alone

I solod this boss several times and got the dagger twice… on my warrior. (I had a stacked Diamond Flask set.)
