   This is in no way spoilers just some clarifications

   This short film took places thousands of years before the event's of WoW and has nothing to do with the expansion Cataclysm

   Old gods are basically prasitic, eldritch horrors. Think Cthulhu from H.P Lovecraft.

3. The destruction of Azshara‘s Empire is called the Sundering where the Well of Eternity exploded and the landmass shattered into the different continents we know today. It was sort of a Pangaea with the Well of Eternity in the center, dominated by the ancient Night Elves.
   This happened around 10‘000 years ago.

   2 of them in are in Kalimdor, one is in the maelstrom and the other is in the Twilight highlands.

6. N’zoth isn’t the god of death, that’s Yogg-Saron (self-proclaimed god of death)

   N’zoth is the Corrupter. He’s a manipulator.

   A lot of what you’re saying completely incorrect.

   Cataclysm is not 90% under water???

   It has one underwater zone.

   The great flood doesn’t even happen in Cataclysm. It doesn’t even happen in Warcraft. It happens in the Battle of the Ancients. 12000 years ago from where World of warcraft is taking place. It’s called The Sundering.

   N’zoth was watching Azshara for 1000 years because that’s how long she was alive at the time. N’zoth had been trapped for millennia before that.

   You shouldn’t have any empathy for Azshara because the reason her empire and people suffered that fate was because she made a deal with another dark power to have them invade Azeroth in return for her becoming his queen and when she was thwarted and the portal closed it blew up the super continent Kalimdor returning in the Maelstrom being formed and the forming of the continents of World of Warcraft becoming what they are.

   Her city flooding was a result on this sundering of the planet.

   She is a power hungry egomaniac

   You can explain Azshara’s origins because it’s not told in game. It’s told through an external book. There is a dungeon in the Cataclysm which takes place during the War of the Ancients but it doesn’t go into much detail as to how it happened

   It’s cool that you’re trying to introduce your friend to WoW and be vague but even the vague information you are giving is wrong.

   It’s fine to not be well informed but you’re explaining the lore as a matter of fact rather than opinion and it’s wrong. You’re in the position of authority here, it’s your responsibility to make it clear whether it’s something you think or something you know for a fact. I would make that clear in your next video that you haven’t studied up on the subject completely and that what you know may not be the whole picture.

Great video, I just wanna clear something, Queen azshara is a high elf, all elves started as high elves, night elves are the group that denounced azshara and got their powers from the nature instead of arcane ( which azshara was using ) and that changed them essentially to what we know as night elves
