  1. I want floating islands throughout the world for houses and guild halls that are not instanced.
Medium-Big Floating island guild halls above capital cities
Small Floating houses above zones throughout the whole world.

  2. It still kinda astounds me that a game as revolutionary as WoW was that it just never found the time to also do any sort of housing feature for so long and this was back when they gave more a shit about the fluffy RPG elements of WoW.

  3. If you have to shell out real money to enable the feature, I'm not paying. It looks like the appearance of the interior that they're so proud of is a hunting lodge for bros. So I would have zero interest in that.

  4. I’ll believe it when I see it , blizzard loves to over hype and under deliver and getting on fan girly over this leads to nothing but disappointment, they dont have the credibility anymore to announce something and assume its going to be good

  5. To touch up on the “mortgage” idea, I have seen it done before in another mmo, that being Vindictus and how they handled their guild housing. The idea was that the entire guild would pitch in to keep access to the house monthly, and you had to pay like 20 mil each month for it. Ultimately killed my interest in the entire feature as a predominantly solo player. I really hope Blizzard doesn’t touch that idea with an 80 foot pole.

  6. Let's just be honest, player housing will be a gate away for them to sell even more MTX. Want this cool at throne? 20 bucks. Want this cool as fountain? 20 bucks. The recent store mount has shown what direction the game is going unfortunately.

  7. @7:15 Bank NPC – Jeeves, AH NPC – Mount, Transmong NPC – Mount/ toys, Mailbox – Moll-e/ whistle. There is already no reason to go into town. You WILL have access to all this stuff while standing in your house one way or another.

  8. Wouldn't be surprised if they're well along with Midnight. TWW released 2 year 10 months after Dragonflight and I'd expect Midnight to be the same if not less, so let's go with July 2026 as the latest, with the game pretty much needing to be done like 2 months ahead of release, gives them about 18 months to finish it from now.

  9. Putting the ah, all vendors, etc, in player housing is a terrible idea. Actual cities would be completely dead. There is enough design space to provide incentive to own a house without adding all that convenience.

  10. The ESO system is actually quite good if you demonetize it. Also, you get "free" crowns for the monthly sub which you can use for stuff like this or xpac content. Kinda meh, but I like the overall design without the monetization.

  11. I see them using the trading post for housing purchases. Expanding it into a full store with housing items, adding purchasable tendies on the main store, and adding more to the monthly earn. Housing packs on the main store like other packs, and a way to earn most everything in game. Specific rewards for the different end game play modes tailored to them? Earn-able free transmog dressing room style at your house would have everyone a buzz.

  12. Half the stuff you tell people to rethink their life over we already have in one form or another… I think its not only realistic but good to make the home a player decorated utility rather than a barbie dreamhouse.
