a love letter to my (probably) favorite video game ever made.

I’ve thought about making a video similar to this one for the past 4 or so years – I recently, 6 months ago I decided it was time to pull the trigger. There were a lot of ups and downs in the process of making this but I think it turned out pretty well… hope you enjoy =)

  1. I'm playing Turtle WoW right now, in Stormwind while waiting for a world buff, and after finishing the video I just slowly moved my camera around, seeing all the people running around, afk'ing in the city with their Corrupted Ashbringers, Spectral Tigers, Legendary titles, low level gear, druid forms, amazing and starting mounts… I really get what you're saying here, man. I'm thankful you finally decided to make this video.

  2. the clip of T1 leaping into the water is 100% that "wow magic". For those of us who have played that magic may have dimmed, but now we get to pass it onto others. The magic becomes less about our enjoyment and more about how we can share the wonder that this game has provided us, with those who have never experienced it. Great video! ggs

  3. WoW was a compilation of gaming, socializing, progressing, achieving, defining. Discord removed most of the reason to even idle in WoW anymore, so that's half the purpose of the game gone.

  4. I have played since my son said, "Dad, you played D&D in the 70s; you would love this." It was during late WOTLK. I joined at the launch of the first Cata, and I still play that same hunter (and others along the way) as my main, though I am not on retail as my computer can not run the game. So, I am back in CATA with a new main hunter since Classic BC. I have never stopped, though I do log off. My first big cheevo was Ahead of the Curve, or what it would have been called then, for Drag Soul before the April nerf.
