The Golden Winged who helps Cyrce's Vrykul vs the Old Gods minions is obviously Val'kyr. We know Odyn is keeping massive amounts of history from us so would make perfect sense that he destroyed all records of that battle once a few Val'kyr returned.
Your lore videos are amazing.
I hope you consider asking how the community actually feels about gameplay changes and mechanics going forward, as you did recently in a community post. It seems like there's a big disconnect between how people are playing and how the community thinks people are playing. Those videos of yours seem very out of touch.
Your lore videos, however, are always so well-done and delivered in a way I hope you continue ❤
There is no "other side" or hidden side to Azeroth. We can see the entire planet.
What about the fish quest?
Damn this island must be so cool! **logs in**…ergh
This made a lot more sense than "I kill fish for epics ???". Thanks
It's not a peri-shell scroll case, it's a pearl-shell scroll case. As in mother of pearl
Lore deez… the content is boring…
You forgot a significant detail,. The new Siren Isle NPCs called Vulpera Toe-Slashers who will no doubt play a pivotal role in taking down Xal'atath
Its a shame we will probably never see the actual Arathi Empire ever. Even if we do, they will not do a good job on it.
Lets jump to massive crystal experts on hand the Arathi…
Velen staring in a disbelief with a surprised pikachu face standing inside a crystal ship wearing crystals while wielding a crystal staff while ship crew is repairing and upgrading the ship with crystals with experience of over 25 000 years.
I have become convinced that Blizzard needs to let WoW die. Creating new convoluted stories just to justify more expansions has caused me to lose all interest.
I miss faction war.
this sounds awfully a lot like they want to retcon the curse of flesh into azeroth giving us free will and i don't like it.
Its so funny to me that the Alliance has access to a literal space ship and noboday has had the bright idea to use it to bypass the storming sea.
I have zero faith the people currently working at blizzard will make anything worth playing.
Or, you know we could all hop on that cool spaceship the Lightforged have and fly over the storm.. Blizz really need to tie up that loose end.
great video!
I believe thats the second time you've called that scroll case 'perishell' and it keeps making me go insane because… it says Pearlshell, right? I'm not going blind?
thanks for the lore and the speculations!
Warcraft Traveler Novel. The Dark Storm look into it.
Oddly you explain it better than Blizzard could. I gave up on the story during shadowlands! Its a train off the rails and happens so often you dont even look at it anymore!
Just a thought. When Argus came into view in Legion. Wouldn't you be able to track land masses on Azeroth FROM Argus?
Thank you for the lore catch up! Not playing this patch because of no flying and time gating. Not a fan of those. Im personally tired of earning my flying.
the presence of lore is not the same as good lore
Wait…if the naga were fighting against the Empire…that means the fucking storm is only on the surface so you can travel it by under the sea or tunnels? holy fuck those useless and worthless midgets could have built a damn underwater tunnel like they did in IF>SW but across the continent…Goblins could have just dig their way through yet we were stuck on this side of the world? brah.
Iv been playing so much retail it’s not even funny, I also come here for anything wow lore. I can’t wait to see how It all proceeds
please gods give us a third faction finally
U on blizz payroll
also, once again, a circlet is not worn on a finger
blizzard is not cooking. they are lazily slogging slop onto the market
So SIF was for the street all these time?
Absolutely fuck all this, “other side of Azeroth,” horseshit.
If they make it real, it’s the dumbest thing they’ve ever done, as we KNOW it’s a globe.
Shit writing and creation if they do it. Tons of other ways to take care of it (Mists of Pandaria being a prime example).
I don't know what's on the other side of Azeroth but I know they have female leads and stubborn ineffectual males who will get sidelined.
Mike youre wrong. Go to the vindecarr and watch Azeroth spin.
Thank you yet again for educating us on everything easily missed. I'm so frustrated with Blizzard for not telling the story about this better.
I mean… the explanation for why there are Naga on the other side of the storm might be a lot simpler and a lot more straightforward.
Maybe they were already on that side of the world before the storm started. No big plan, no 5-D chess. Just… people stuck in the airport when a blizzard hits and cancels all the flights.
The Warcraft equivalent of an Icelandic volcano.
The other side of Azeroth is one of those things that could make up for some interesting lore. I even once had an idea for a private server around the concept, it centered around having a sort of "survival" component so players got shipwrecked on an unknown continent that they had to explore and help found settlements for their factions alongside a neutral one. The main dangers were the Naga, Titan Constructs and there were two befriendable dragon factions unrelated to the other flights, the Ivory Dragonflight and the Obsidian Dragonflight born from a single broodmother who escaped Grim Batol.
Ty Sir!! Greatly enjoy your Lore stories. It really makes a difference knowing the histories. Ty to you and your crew!
