New reveals are only making the hype and speculation over the upcoming Warcraft Anniversary Direct even juicier! And after sinking my teeth into Siren Isle I ran a comparison with the Forbidden Reach from Dragonflight. What’s different?

Grats on AOTC!
Early ayyy 🎉
honestly, i imagine that Siren's Isle is gonna be good, but i'm not sticking around for long. reason i say this is because after Dec 25th i'm taking a much needed break, as i've been going ham at WoW since TWW went live. i can collect the Mogs, Mounts and Achievements from Siren Isle in the future.
That intro while I'm doing world quests and listening to you in the background… too real. I love you soul.
Your first screen my guy don't worry
I think a 100 discs is too much D: I'm doing a lot of M+ and raid and I'm barely getting 10-20 discs per week
The no flying shouldn’t be a thing where it is forbidden. More it is learned. You fly you die. Shot out of the sky. Blown out to sea. Whatever it is. Could be stages of learning to unlock. Risk is good.
Lately I've been seeing a lot of hate (especially toward the anniversary event), but I can't help be really pleased with Blizz's handling of the expansion so far. This is the first time in years that I've actually played through the beginning of the expansion into new season patches.
i dont feel one drop of hype. this game burnt off it's base.
Idk why I have a feeling Legion Remix is coming because of illidan haha, I would love that. Would be able to get the mage tower weapons and transmog!
You’re so breezy!
I'm still wondering if Blizzard is going to finally flip the switch and replace the Cataclysm-era building models with the high-quality models (of the exact same size) they've been quietly building for years now, as seen in datamining. They could, in theory, just do a hotfix and make the old world instantly look much higher res.
If they're not planning on something like this, it's not clear why they've been making these models for all these years and why they haven't just implemented them at the start of one expansion or another.
You’re my mobile screen on lunch break!
Bold of you to assume I had two screens. You'd always be main screen worthy regardless!!
this shit is honestly a joke
Warcraft 3: Reforge's "2.0 patch" may well not be a "2.0". The patch number that was "leaked" was 2.0.0.22230, which is a purely referential patch number. 2002 (the year Warcraft 3 was released), 22 (how many years WC3 has been out for) and 30 (does this need explaining at this point?)
Not saying that a 2.0 won't happen, as I still believed it was all the way up until the WC2 Remaster was datamined, but just want to make it really clear that the "leak" was actually intentional ARG marketing, mostly to just remind people that Reforge is likely to be involved in the anniversary at some point.
As for what is coming for Reforge, well, the only thing I expected before recently was for WC3:Reforged to be repackaged to cover the entire Warcraft RTS series, with the 3 being dropped from the title or renamed to something like "The Three War Saga", in addition to the original WC3 client being returned. I expected the anniversary event would have either the Human or Orc campaign available for free with the other campaigns being DLC packs later down the line.
However, with the WC2 Remaster announcement and the ever present ill-feeling towards Reforge, why do that? Why spend money or a very grand project that cannibalises the remaster AND has a high chance to be rejected, resulting in even more incomplete content? So now all I am expecting is for them to deliver on the outstanding promises of the original remake announcement by adding improved cutscenes and alternative VO (but maybe without a new script and missions that had many people on edge after the original announcement). Yet, that would in no way trigger the game flipping to 2.0, it would just be 1.37. So if they do announce a 2.0 patch for reforge, I have no idea what it could be at this point.
fix god dam warcraft 3 to old ways they killed big community lets spam it guys on 13 nov who's with me.
FYI, just to be a sour-puss, not only do I think there is no chance of a TV show, I am starting to think that wishing for anything like that is something we really should encourage Blizzard not to do. With the recent revelation that Arcane's 18 episodes and marketing have raked up a $250million+ cost and will not break even for a long while due to poor project management, all I can see coming out of Blizzard, a company that managed to piss away $80million on project Titan due to poor project management, as well as what ever they ended up spending that recently cancelled survival game, I see no sense in them tackling such a project, which is a shame, but my god, the mess they would make from such an attempt would make Square's ill-fated attempt with Square Picture look like a drop in the bucket.
Do you guys think we'll get a legion remix announcement?
Don’t buy WC2:R until they finish WC3:R
3:27 Wow just wow
I really liked the isles in DF, i just didn't like the onyx amulet
@ Profession respecs:
My guess is that they came to the conclusion that it ´s kind of pointless at this point. For ex on my main, I can only spend I think 10 more points on guns, 30 in explosives, and another 20 on ingenuity procs while crafting parts. I might be missing something, but it´s definitely not much (or currently important), I´d say definitely less than 100 points until there´s nothing left to learn…..
So by the time the 11.0.7 comes in 2 months, most people that have been keeping halfway on top of their professions will only be able to respec from "knows everything and is now farming acuity for mats" to "knows everything and is now farming acuity for mats" ☕
That said, being someone myself who has repeatedly leveled remix alts that were never intended to see retail play to 80 doing acuity shuffles and maxing out specific class /race /profession combos to take advantage of certain synergies and farms, like a Tailoring /Inscription ret that leveled from 70-80 in teh first 1,5 rooms of darkflame cleft follower dungeons, I absolutely think that no matter what they implement it will inevitably underestimate "big crafting"'s penchant for ruthlessly exploiting anything that can be turned into gold. If you think the venture company is bad news, you´ve never personally met a WoW goldfarmer. That´s not to say they´re bad people per se, but just don´t get in the way of their WoW goldmaking or you´ll wish you had insulted a mafia don's nonna 😛
And I´m fairly certain that´s a big part of the reason they start off low with event rewards and then buff them later, so that a handful of sly foxes and turbo-goblins don´t make bank while ruining the event for everyone else by finding that one overlooked item that was BoE, or that one buggy mob that dropped x supermat over and over and over, or or or…. For example, if you think the frogs got ravaged in remix, just imagine each frog now also being worth (X)k gold in Charms because they were tradeable instead of BoP, and how the value of the charms would have gone straight to the moon after the nerfs to the drop rate. That´s teh kind of thing WoW goldfarmers live for.
Again not to say they´re bad people.. but never, EVER underestimate their collective ability to smell an orphaned copper coin from 12 zones away and will to sieze it at all costs, because no matter how absurd and pitifully small the shuffle or farm may seem, if it´s at all possible they can and will find a way to make it mint gold coins, even with a 204916 step process that somehow starts with peacebloom and eventually ends up with a peacebloom and a peacebloom petal 😉
I'm not a fan of these bi-weekly drip-feed exposition quests. They don't mean much to me and I usually don't even stay once I've handed in my quest. It's uninterestingly presented lore imo.
I’m concerned that having your gold mean something in Plunderstorm is going to make the PvP more aggressive. Yes, I know it is a PvP event and “don’t play it if you don’t like it” is the knee jerk response, but the transmog is great and there is no other way to get it. As a collector I am going to slog through it, just like last time, I am only concerned of Diabloesque griefing.
Another great vid, also that shirt is awesome, do want!
To me it sounds like they are regurgitating some crap content and giving it back to us. I would rather they slow down a bit and give us some new content. Personally I only plan to do what they make me do on the island.
I absolutely hate that time draining mind numbing waste of time titan disk quest, digging literally 100 bits of crap out of the floor
I feel like if nothing else, no-fly zones have to stay around to justify the weirdly high amount of ground-only mounts they've been releasing.
I think the biweekly vault quest is very boring. I liked the unfolding zone campaigns of Shadowlands where you had proper quests with interaction with the story. Also good point, that new players could fall behind here and miss the important story points. Again in Shadowlamds, the catch up was easy and you could do the whole campaign in one sitting if you started it weeks behind everyone else.
