  1. I just want to say while I'm half way through the video, that this is a really informative and helpful channel! I will probably main an Spriest in SL since their baseline spec is so fun to play (albeit a bit boring options with Legendaries/Covenants) and your style of content helps me out a ton before diving into SL. I've mained Warrior since MoP and although it's weird to go from the most ballsdeep melee to a ranged multi-dot class, it certainly is loads of fun! I've seen you on the Discord channel and read your icy-veins guide as well, hope to see more of it 😉 Keep it up!

EDIT: I don't know if you're planning on it, but I would very much like to see some +15 SL keys with maybe some info about what talents to pick or things like Mass Dispel this and that debuff, save CD's for that pack etc. Might be a bit too much to ask for but no Youtuber for any class that I know off, goes that in-depth for M+ dungeons.

  2. First time maining Shadow and it’s honestly very cool to play. Loving the re work and your channel has been super informative. I look forward to your guides moving into SL! Thanks for the dedication! I’ll be streaming on Twitch and I’ll be happy to shout you out since you played a major role in me choosing my main. Your channel deserves more attention. Cheers!

  3. I've been having a ton of fun in prepatch, espescially in M+ running 2x Spite 2x Searing Dialogue, 1x Thought Harverster, and 1x Whispers. With Searing Nightmare, my AoE is basically untouchable and I'm beating people by like 50-60% on trash pulls especially if I throw in a lil meme beam on CD (yes, even though it was nerfed) Obviously I fall off a little bit on boss dmg, but not as much as I would expect and its still one of the best builds I've played as shadow. Try it while you can =D

  4. While coming back for Shadowlands and also going to play my SP (still rocking my Anathema!) im happy for new players experiencing the class I also hope that we don't get a huuuge wave of new SP up until the point of LfG tool always beeing "Looking for ranged (no shadows!)" all the time 🙂

  5. Thanks for the awesome info and guides! I'm back to maining my SPriest again and really looking forward to it. I think my biggest worry in Shadowlands is picking a Covenant that I want to be in and then being told I can't do something—M+, raiding, etc.— because of that.

  7. Thanks for the vid brotha. I'm thinking of maining S priest so this helps a lot. Quick question on Surrender to Madness… in let's say mythic plus, I target the lowest health mob and surrender to madness, and kill it. Do I keep the effects of Surrender to Madness (casting on the move, void form) or does that end when mob dies. I noticed that I can't cast on the move once that mob died unless I did something wrong. Thanks!

  8. I've been struggling hard with what to main for Shadowlands, today in particular. I haven't watched the video yet but I just wanna say thank you for making videos like this to help people like me who are looking at 2-4 potential class mains but can't choose!

  9. The aptly named Witchland Shadow Man can manipulate shadows to devour people in total darkness, and kill them by freezing them or piercing them with tendrils of shadow. Shadow forces often act as the opposite of Hard Light, the victim can cast a shadow into a living shadow, which is animated by an existing being until the shadow returns. The creation of the shadow being in pure darkness will be able to influence the world as if it were a solid object, but only for a limited time.

Grue Worm can also be manipulated to dampen certain superpowers, such as the ability to control light and dark, or shadow and light.

You could originally bundle the darkness into a ball of black energy and animate shadows, especially your own, and thus darken a room. If you have somehow caused a solar eclipse, you can cast spells to cast the shadow of your target around them, creating a band of supernatural darkness around their eyes that blinds them. A shadow strong enough to bind an enemy can also bring other superpowers to a standstill and send shadowy tendrils into the air, which apparently mutilate the enemy's internal organs.

You can spend an additional Spell Point as a free action to keep the effect for the duration without concentration. Darkness has no effect on blindfolds, and creatures with transparent abilities are immune. Blindfold lasts 1 minute or until the end of next turn, a total of 5 minutes.

Ironically, Elliot's ability only works during the day, but as an SSS Ranking instructor and Shadow Skill, you are able to control just that. This subversion is due to the fact that most of the bearers of such powers overlap with darkness in general and are as such weakened by light and associated with the night, and are meant as shadows. This talent can be used as a Dark Eye Spot and also has the Shadow Marker, but can only be used at night. It is said to create a shadow shield and most often summon a towering entity of shadows to execute Tin's command.

Later, this is undermined as it turns out that you can take objects that generate light at night, such as the Dark Eye Spot and Shadow Marker, to get around this weakness.

In addition to holy magic, Keedran has dark magic like soul theft, and Yami and Sukehiro's Black Clover use their spells to disguise themselves. Shikamaru and Nara Naruto use the shadow sewing technique to bind their opponents into materialized shadows.

By eating the dark fruit of Yami Yamami in Mi – Mi, the teacher can control the darkness, which gives him the ability to control gravity, create pockets in another dimension, eliminate forces and absorb the area around one (s).

The shadow techniques manipulate dimensional energy to create spaces for a variety of tricks. Lady Little Nightmares has the ability to merge shadows, disappear into a puff of black smoke, turn an entire room into complete darkness, and turn shadows into malicious devices – children capable of sucking the life out of every living thing they come into contact with. Brett LiEat behaves similarly, manipulating shadows to pull them from the ground into jagged dark shapes and use them to hold a sword and attack.

Fumikage Tokoyami has a quirk called the Bird-like Living Shadow, which he can manipulate (mostly) at will. There is also Kotaro Inugami, who has the ability to summon the autonomous spirit of a wolf from darkness and shadow. It also implies that he is able to suck the soul out of everyone through a dark mist.

It weakens in bright light and sometimes loses control when it gets too dark, but sometimes regains control in the dark.

Debugging Destiny has a Shadow Walk special that makes Osborne look darkly, presumably in darkness. Lovecraftian takes this on board when he suggests that the shadows are literally Osborne's physical form, obliterated by light. This is not a completely heroic character, as he has no superpowers, but rather an evil looking shadow being without any powers of his own.

Rose Lalonde of Homestuck may not be evil, but she's definitely unqualified, and she uses her shadow aura to wear a black outfit and a black battle aura, on top of that. Harry's Shadow Magic has the ability to manipulate and use the Darkness of Shadows to take over Slytherin and become a Dark Lord. Adora gets a magical headband that gives her control over the shadows, making her a bit more evil than the other characters in the Harry Potter series.

  10. Releases video 23hrs ago. Priest receives nerf 11hrs later. Right on. Top of the middle of the pack is the best place to be anyway 😉 as top of the pack at release always under the microscope and get beat with a bat, till towards the end.

  11. Just a tiny suggestion… Hover over the stuff you're talking about so we can see description then elaborate on your thoughts about it. Taking you at your word is one thing, feeling even more valuable to my time is another! Good work. Thanks for the info.
