  1. Hah, I love that both of us (I didn't do a reaction, it's just what I did when I watched the video) tried to see if that soul in Revendreth was actually supposed to be someone. I guess we were both affected by the Afterlives video.

This short cinematic really reminded me of the Classic and Burning Crusade cinematics, where they don't really tell a story, just have cool and iconic stuff in the background. But yeah, it seems more like advertising in this day and age, but, as you said, it's a good sign that they have models for future cinematics.

Great point on the lines; having them speak as well would have added some gravitas, I agree

  2. Honestly, I just keep seeing Shadowlands as "We could have had the Black Empire instead of this". Like, there are a few neat lore bits in the expansions, that diary from the Natherzim probably the most significant one of the top of my head. But, I just cant care about the Jailer and Sylvanas. We already have a good idea that Blizzard wont let us actually kill her, so it just feel like it will be the new WoD, before whatever the new Legion is.

  3. I’m surprised they didn’t show the Archon. I guess that Kyrian dude they do show is cool too just a weird choice. I can’t remember what his name is. At least if they’d showed the Archon it would fit with the others and since the missing Primus is a plot point it’s weird that they’d put anyone who could potentially be construed as the leader in that bit as not having anyone would have made it different and alluded to the plot point.

  4. Deathwing gets points because he is the only villain to have left a lasting noticeable effect on the world that we will never forget. He broke the world you can’t say any of the other villains have done anything remotely close. Maybe Azshara or Sargeras 10000 years ago but it was more their defeat that did that.

  5. feels like the Jailor is gonna get the Grommash treatment.. Advertised as the final boss then plot twist, its not him. Might even be the ones that 'vanished' him in the first place… And no idea what was the deal with this trailer, felt more like a teaser that should have came out 3 months ago.. not a week before launch..
