I’d love to see arcane mage get a rework . The rotation is a bit crazy for the everyday player .
so Unholy DK … yes it can do some nice damage (sort of) and it's certainly more interactive. But overall it's way more complicated than it should be. Wounds are a clunky mechanic
pretty sure we will see lots of changes in 11.9, but i wouldnt expect much the end of dragonflight. especially expecting entire revamps.
I am a main survival hunter, I enjoy the heck out of the spec. That being said our talent tree is TERRIBLE, Tons of dead talents, like you said in the video our capstone talents do not align. Why Mongoose byte is not our main ability isntead of raptor strike, why do we have carve wehn butchery is the superior talent, I can keep going. Hunters have been asking for dual wiled since forever, qivers, pets rework; but the devolopers dont care at all :(.
Lone wolf shouldn’t even exist. Hunter fantasy is with pets, shouldn’t be punished for having a pet out
Just rolled a shadow priest – I feel like it's going to be the star of war within like druid has been for 10.2. (it has a whole xal'atath component afterall!). Curious as to how people feel about S Priest's current spot.
the shaman totem change sounds like an amazing idea
1) For Frost DKs all they need to do, is reduce the cooldown of Death and Decay (make it have like 15-20 seconds CD instead of 30), and buff their single-target… they'll be more than fine (I'm talking primarily about the 2h Obliterate build here).
OR just make Obliterate hit 2-3 targets baseline, and it's GG (in AoE scenarios).
2) For Unholy DKs, they can out-dps almost every class in the game when it comes to big mob packs (sometimes even single-target, I'm not even kidding), but it takes too long for the damage to ramp up… which makes them really clunky and kinda bad in lower M+ keys. Actually it's not even that, but the fact that we have to press like 8-9 buttons before we can even start pressing damage buttons.
Maybe change Scourge Strike (or better yet, Clawing Shadows, since it does more damage) in such a way that it keeps its "AoE" effect for 5 seconds even after Death and Decay ends, but it only hits targets that have Outbreak on them.
Blizzard really shouldn't be afraid of going ham with positive AoE changes when it comes to Death Knights. I mean we only have 6 Runes, which we have to maintain PLUS Runic Power. Other than that, they could benefit a lot from some more mobility… Literally just give them an equivalent of Divine Steeds from paladins, since they also ride horses. And make it have 2 charges. Boom, problem solved.
Shaman need way more than just a buff totem. Elemental really needs a revamp. Earthquake is paltry and needs a good update. Flame Shock either needs to be spread a lot easier without having to rely on another ability to do so, or Lava Burst just needs to be single target only and make a Lightning build that's for AoE.
If the former, let Earthquake apply Flame Shock to all mobs standing in it. Since Earthquake can't move, this would incentivize tanks to try and keep mobs in it, and Shaman for more thoughtful placement. EQ shouldn't rely on Maelstrom, but it should have a 10 second CD with the Flame Shock it applies lasting for 8 seconds.
If the latter, increased damage of Chain Lightning and procs of Stormkeeper like the tier set gave. Chain Lightning should jump to more mobs outside of using Stormkeeper, too. Lightning Rod would be a good starting point. Currently, not one popularly used loadout uses LR for anything. Plus, it being gated behind Icefury is asinine.
Is there more and better things to change? Absolutely! We don't see enough lightning in gameplay these days, in my opinion. Personally, I'd like to see a lightning build that does great single target damage, but also does good passive AoE for raid fights, and build and spend build where the AoE is great because it's active, but also does good single target damage.
One thing for both Elemental and Restoration I'd also like to see would be shared stats. I was a third healer on our Fyrakk fight last night, and because I'm geared for Elemental and going for the 88% Mastery (currently 56%), in Restoration I was sitting at +90% Mastery. In fact, all classes should share secondary and tertiary stats. It's hard enough to get different weapons between the specs, but adding a full set of gear because the stat allocation is wrong just hurts.
Demon hunter was always on top in all of the 3 seasons so far. can't complain because we sucked on bfa and in sl
I main Arms Warrior right now and my only complaint is, half the talent nodes in the class talent tree are skills that used to be baseline. It feels bad forgoing so much utility just to keep up on the meters. I wish the talent trees were more about skill manipulation and less about whether you have them or not.
The combat in WoW is like 95% of dmg numbers and 5% the rest, complete lack of impact or meat.
Dal you managed to put every class on the list that might need changes but left out warrior that needs a complete rework 😀
I do agree about shaman, I do miss the mass totem summon. I do think as example elemental could have a totem to buff att/crit of where ever you plop totem and the resto could have a mana regen/health regen over time type of deal.
Droods need their groove back, right now the i'm playing ballance druid and seem the only real good part about it is free flight and gathering nodes more safely .

Id highly recommend SV hunters to check out my SV build (for pvp) the moment i realized i was thinking too hard is the moment i "got good" with the spec.
Are you serious Destro lock out of all specs??? They were kings and end up being that way throughout almost all xpacs. Out of all the spec Affliction needs the most rework. They're by far one of the least played classes in most settings.
Warrior needs changes. The parasitic BFA design of fury and arms is getting worse and worse and the specs need to return to form
all the changes will lead us to 1-2 meta builds as always 😅
I still fully believe arms warrior is in dire need of a rework. Being capped on rage till execute feels horrid.
I'd like to see an elemental shaman revamp because I'm tired of procs. Just make lava burst deal chunky damage like it used to back in the day. No lava surge.
I think bm hunter should have more focus on your beast than on arrows like posionous fangs and combinations abilities for your pets make more immersive
1. survival hunter – no other class in the game has a 'choose one' talent where one of the two choices is unusable (as it requires you to equip a ranged weapon)
2. windwalker
4. protection warrior
Affliction needs a rework and frost mage less boring to play.
