Shadowlands PvP Class Nerfs Too Far or Not Enough? What Needs To Happen

Read more about Shadowlands ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.tv

Shadowlands PvP recently saw some class nerfs including changes to Fire Mage, Balance Druid, Holy, Retribution, and Protection Paladin. These changes were mostly targeted towards legendaries, conduits, and covenant abilities. Classes like the Arms Warrior and Windwalker mons were left out as well as various buffs to underperforming classes. Players also want to know if there will future changes coming soon. Blizzard and the developers need to improve their communication and clarification on class balance.

  1. My issue with blizzard is when they nerf something they don't compensate the spec elsewhere so usually what happens is that spec just becomes bad. They also need to buff the weaker specs instead of just nerfing the top.

I'm shocked that windwalker and arms didn't get nerfed but ret did. Ret is so easy to control and counter…

  2. Yes small buffs and nerfs is good i like it too but one big problem that blizzard is making is when they nerf something in PvE it affect PvP too pure example uh dks got nerfed mastery cos they was good in pve but that nef make them more bad class than dhs even not viable they must separate pve and pvp cos is real deal hop there are balance fixes everything ok but few classes are op in pve nerf them oh fck they are shit in pvp leta start from 0 and that repeat over and over there was scaling in pvp in bfa and was bad but mby they can use that thing to try separate pve from pvp dunno rly + the other problem is the game is not rdy i can say its 60% done and now they continue making it when its live i understand they want money but in the end greed kills !

  3. My man bringing us more leveled headedness to the community. Keep at it! Would love to see my frequent changes. I just recently dropped by sub due to the current state of the game, overall just not happy with it.

PS: I miss having a messed up sleep schedule, I can't be apart your late night chill streams anymore haha

  4. You should work at Blizzard, you get it. We all spend ALOT OF TIME ON WOW, how they treat us and the frequency of changes matters immensely!!!!!!! A lack of communication is not what anyone wants. Why do they always make ghost changes beyond the blue post, it is not fair nor right for a paying subscription game.

  5. The fire nerf is huge and being the only good mage spec in pvp odds are it'll get pushed out of High end pvp. On top of that they didn't touch warriors and monks which Will make then go from top tier To god tier at High ranks.

  6. My main content is PvE but like many others I reluctantly decided to check out some PvP because it's an extra gearing path. If you're rusty (or bad) like me or just a new player, the current meta is absolutely brutal if you happen to play one of the weaker specs. Sub rogues killing you in a cheap shot, rets bursting you down in a half HoJ, dying to combustion or convoke within 2 seconds. I'm sure the good/experienced players can probably deal with it, but I'm guessing the average person who just wants to hop in and try a bit of arena will get completely disheartened when you fight those fotm specs all the time and you feel like you have 3 seconds to press your buttons before you're just dead.

Once Blizzard fixes the PvE gearing again I'm guessing the drop-off in PvP participation will be insane. But if you're good at PvP, enjoy the current buffet of noobs getting served up right now 🙂

  7. Can you stop asking for ret to be nerfed. You do know they’re literally useless if our healing gets nerfed. Our dmg is falling off dramatically as people gear. Our mobility utility and cc are garbage. And if healing goes away or continues to get nerfed well literally have nothing else. same with the prot legendary.

  8. Small changes…looking to it from field: I cant now switch class, cause of those "small changes" just you level up one you know it's trash now

  9. A lot of you are commenting that you want to see specific class changes, and while I understand, as a community we need to focus on the frequency of changes as well as the overall communication. If we have frequent changes, you won’t have to wait 2-3 months to get the changes you have been asking for. Blizzard will also have to explain their thinking behind the changes that take place. Please try to focus your energy on that!

  10. Appreciate your feedback – I canceled my sub a couple days ago and glad I did. It’s very obvious that WoW is not really in blizzards interest and just an ATM for those that can’t let go. It’s been a joke and trust me, this isn’t going anywhere. I’ll poke back in if they actually listen

  11. The idea that anyone should have to apologize for demanding better from a service they'e paying for is insane. WoW exists because of the players. In a very real sense, it is OUR game. Blizzard needs to stop treating the players like ATMs and start listening.
