DO IT!!!! DO IT!!!❤🎉😂
I used to played this game about 40 hours a week and worked full time (Full time is 40 hours in Europe, between Mon – Fri). You can easily cram in 20 hours over the weekend. It's not that hard if you don't have kids or any other obligations.
I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to WoW and MMOs in general. I've played about 2 weeks now, and it's so damn overwhelming. I feel like I'm just spinning in circles at this point. But I ain't giving up!
I have come back after many years but once again I got sucked in Classic SoD. Hopefully will play retail soon
I can't remember if I commented my situation on your channel, or not, but here it is…
short version A Win11 update broke my computer beyond repair (2nd time this has happened to me, meaning dead mobo impossible to reinstall Win or replace SSD) so I moved to Apple permanently. New iMac M3 24gb ram.
Blizzard supports MacOS decently, and no longer can play EQ, so I've been playing WoW retail. I know Microsoft bought Blizzard, so I hope the MacOS support continues, but for now I am having a great time in game! The game looks great and the new iMac's are perfect for me as I'm in my 50's (on the older side, but still GenX technically) and I'm just done with the "Build your own gaming rig" hobby thing. That's a young person's game IMO.
Game options are limited on MacOS, but thats ok with me. As long as I have a decent MMO (WoW) and a good casual turn based game to waste 30min or so on once in a while (Hearthstone) I'm all set. It feels good to not have updates forced down your throat like MS does, and hope it doesn't break your machine every month.
Thanks for the tip on using a controller in WoW. I know MacOS is great for running old console emulator's using Blue Tooth controllers. I suspect it'll work fine for WoW. I need to see if Santa will add a new controller in my stocking this year. 😜
Glad you're enjoying it!
I came back after 13 years and I am loving it. Casually playing through all the content I missed has been a blast!
They need some "2.0" because most of the stuff is just time travelling and weird that you can do something that has happened "20 years ago". Could be behind chromie / phased out. Would remove some confusion. Stuff that matters is from the end of legion to this expansion. Shadowlands can and should be skipped.
I left in 2012, came back for Wrath classic, but now thinking about restarting retail. lol.
i lost my old account, dont remeber login or anything, maybe i should start a new journey? i have not played this game since mist of pandaria. is it worth coming back?
maybe one day I'll return to this World… we will see it
How is the PVP?
The only thing that I really hate about starting the game is that the game now forces you through the BFA content for levelling to 60, not only is it not the best content but you can't even finish the BFA storyline once you reach 60, you are pushed into dragonflight
Great video! I started playing wow back in 2006 and played till about 2012 then quit as irl started to be busy. Lately gaming has growned on me(again) and invest alot of time to it and after many times of thinking about trying retail wow i finally did after playing also wow classic. So far iam a bit lost but very interested to see how it is and this video sure gave alot of good information of current state! 👍
It blows my mind that WoW is still going so strong after all these years. I raided hardcore in the early days and played the game with everyone I knew. It was a unique experience that will never be recreated in my life, and I'm glad to have those memories. We drop in and enjoy the beginning of expansions before we drop off and it's a fun nostalogia refresh. Legion was probably my favorite since Vanilla, TBC and MoP. Excited to see where everything goes onward!
I just came back to WOW after more years then I want to say (shows my age). I played a while up until BC then went back to EQ. As a noob to wow again, I find it very confusing and a lot to get to know, especially with the BG's Honor points, Marks, all the different vendors and so on.
I remember playing a hunter and making your own arrows … what a pain. I haven’t played in years.
Thx for a amazing video 🥳🙏 I will be back to this game after 4 years and waiting on my computer and looking forward 🤩 maybe you will do some videos about, where too start or how you playing with the controller ?? take care of yourself 🤩 regards// J 🇸🇪
Happy Birthday… you mentioned that you'll be 44 in January(?) We are the same age – well, I am actually 45… ANYWAYS! Lol I tried WoW back in 2004, loved it, but life got in the way and I have decided to come back and give it a go. I am SUPER confused and it's been exciting… thanks for your video, helped a ton! ♥ Cheers and happy gaming!
I have been pretty actively playing WOW since vanilla. about 17 years active. I still have not done all of the expansions 100%. There is so much to do in wow, so many things to just see and do. It is a wonderful game. Thanks for the video.
You like WoW? Ha! Turn back while there's still hope before you're completely sucked in. Seriously, though, it's awesome to see you as a newbie covering this in such a positive light. It's an awesome game; one that as a lifelong gamer I will admit is my favorite. Sure enough, if I was on my deathbed and offered the opportunity to play just one game before lights out, just one of the great many games I have played and loved, it would be this game…. just let me heal a M+ and see that flurry of green numbers as I fill health bars. Indeed, the game has issues both mechanically and with respect to the way it has been run, and over the years I have been tempted to give it all up, but in the end it is nothing short of an amazing piece of work that I figured I'll just take the bad with the good.
Welcome to WoW, and thanks for helping to bring fresh blood into the game.
I'm thinking of giving it a go, I may come to your server @renfail but i'm from the uk, that possible?
Great video. Been playing since 2007 and still agree with everything you said. So glad finally someone says it how it is and it's refreshing from a new player. So many people say the game is bad for new players and I don't agree with that at all. There is so much value for the subscription price. Not only is there so much to do in retail but you also get Classic for free
