  1. I'm not really sure what the point of dynamic ground mounts would be if we can just fly everywhere. I guess it would just be for fun, but I imagine most players would rarely ever use it. There are 3 ways I can see dynamic ground mounts being used though: 1) if they had ground mount races, though I think people would really only use dynamic ground mounts for completing the races and that's it, 2) if they add areas in the game that you can only use a ground mount, like if we were to go back to unlocking flight halfway through an expansion, and 3) if dynamic ground mounts could get you from place to place equally as fast as dynamic flying, which seems unlikely because it would have to go like twice as fast as dynamic flying to compensate for all the obstacles and terrain.

  2. Omg I want so bad dynamic ground mounts like in Horizon or Immortals Fenyx rising. I want to be able to park my mount and whistle at him to come at me, or my mount to follow me after I dismount him.In WoW my ground mounts collect dust

  3. They no doubt have to do dynamic flight, but they should also do dynamic movement in general like let the characters sprint and have different animations for running with certain weapons

  4. Maybe they will bring dynamic ground mounts out because of area's where we cant fly like the Azuremist Isles or Ghostlands etc as there has been no mention of them turning those area's into flying zones.

  5. hot take, ive only being playing wow for a year, but doesn't all this datamined information and pre-patch info take away the magic, everyone knows whats there, theres nothing to find and explore.

  6. The things that I think "Dynamic Ground Movement": 1*. Leap or burst of speed on a mount, think Wild Charge from Druid-Stag form but for ground mounts. 2. Climbing up steep or sheer surfaces like sonic running on a loop or Battle-Toads (NES) racing up walls and ceilings to escape the killer ball that chases. 3*. "Speed Up" but can't easily change direction. This is in reference to Legion and the mana saber charge-up world quest. 4*. Blink-Teleport long distances or across ravines as long as you can see your destination. 5. Trample/knockback or dismount people with a lengthy cool-down timer. * = likely abilities.
