  1. Yea….now they are only doing bait and switch…. and they used that trick few too many times…

I would get immersed into reading lore I could get in quests then search for another follow up quest to get more of the story, the raids and dungeons would be the iceing on the cake.

  2. I levelled a 29 rogue, 22 warrior, 21 mage, 19 paladin, 12 priest, 6 warlock, 6 hunter. Genuinely enjoy my time finding all the quests in the area, figuring out the best way to do them, and practicing the optimal route. Some people just want to use a guide and plow through the levels. The game accomodates both. The world is so rich, so many things to discover, things to do, etc.. People can enjoy it the way they want to. For me the low level experience is a blast to do so I just keep doing that 😛

  3. a large part of all the wins/rewards feeling good is that you first get to feel the problems that it solves first.

In retail, why would I be happy with my first blue item when everything already dies in 2 hits and my hp never goes below 90%?

Why would I be happy with a mount if I've never walked anywhere yet?

Too many modern games these days just focus on constantly rewarding players, without showing the problem the reward solves first.

  4. Vanilla was a magic time, but it's for the best that this kind of social MMO was killed off by Blizzard. It was horrifically addictive and ruined a lot of lives. Some of my best memories are from Vanilla WoW but it's easy to become absorbed into the world.

  5. It would be very nice and sweet. BUT: The community is utter garbage. Makes it completely unplayable. You are forced to raid with 40 other players. High chances you have the worst people on the planet right in your guild.

This issue is not exclusive to classic WoW, but nearly EVERY online game suffers from it.

Its horrible. Better roll with single player games and find your peace.
