Yea….now they are only doing bait and switch…. and they used that trick few too many times…
I would get immersed into reading lore I could get in quests then search for another follow up quest to get more of the story, the raids and dungeons would be the iceing on the cake.
Welcome brother even though you are a filthy alliance
I levelled a 29 rogue, 22 warrior, 21 mage, 19 paladin, 12 priest, 6 warlock, 6 hunter. Genuinely enjoy my time finding all the quests in the area, figuring out the best way to do them, and practicing the optimal route. Some people just want to use a guide and plow through the levels. The game accomodates both. The world is so rich, so many things to discover, things to do, etc.. People can enjoy it the way they want to. For me the low level experience is a blast to do so I just keep doing that 😛
a large part of all the wins/rewards feeling good is that you first get to feel the problems that it solves first.
In retail, why would I be happy with my first blue item when everything already dies in 2 hits and my hp never goes below 90%?
Why would I be happy with a mount if I've never walked anywhere yet?
Too many modern games these days just focus on constantly rewarding players, without showing the problem the reward solves first.
I hate the fact that I never got my Mount caught on an invisible of unpathable terrain . Hate all the gold farmers too. Except the one who took me to locations of other herb bots
Project Epoch is the real Classic Plus
I love classic wow. As an adult, it's like some form of therapy
im also a new wow classic player and im definitely loving it
faccts
Turtle WoW
Vanilla was a magic time, but it's for the best that this kind of social MMO was killed off by Blizzard. It was horrifically addictive and ruined a lot of lives. Some of my best memories are from Vanilla WoW but it's easy to become absorbed into the world.
Its too bad there are more cheaters and real money traders than actual player who love the game like you and me
Too bad the player base sucks and emphasizes speed and efficiency over fun
No games feels like classic. Classic is like coming home from a long trip. Its so cozy. For me, it actually heals depressive phases where Im super down. Theres nothing that comes close to me
Looking at dungeon loot tables is great. Sometimes i jyst check and go wauv thats good for palading or shaman or deyid or whatever
you boomers are something else man
Dare I say, it's the greatest game ever made. They absolutely nailed it.
It would be very nice and sweet. BUT: The community is utter garbage. Makes it completely unplayable. You are forced to raid with 40 other players. High chances you have the worst people on the planet right in your guild.
This issue is not exclusive to classic WoW, but nearly EVERY online game suffers from it.
Its horrible. Better roll with single player games and find your peace.
Its nostalgia for me and its not. There's just some Je ne sais quoi about WoW classic that nothing has ever been able to duplicate. I think it got even better with TBC
