In Turalyons eye's, someone who was under the influence of Xera back in Legion, the void was evil. For Alleria, it was a tool to defeat their enemies. The moment they leave their baby there is when they go to outland. They later on escape the destruction of the planet (Draenor turning into Outland) through a portal, then they are rescued and conscripited into the Xera's Army of the Light for 1000years (time passes different in the Twisting Nether). We meet them in Legion, they were estranged at that point. They get reunited when we get to Argus!

The void seeks to corrupt all, and drive you mad. to make you hunger for more and more power. Its why only the strong of will can hold back the madness. those that can't fall to the void. So yes it is Evil, but as we have seen in WoW. Some times you need to fight fire with fire.
What Has happened to blizzard? They used to have the BEST cinematics. Now this is what we get, some drawn up trailers… just wish we could get back to high quality all the time. That's what made them separate from everyone else.😢

I wish they would do an animated show from Warcraft 1 to 3, everyone knows the story of wow but when it comes to 1 and 2 not as many people know. Also Baj the horde attacking the elves is part of Warcraft 2. Arthas was still a child when this battle went down. Not sure of the timeline with the legion stuff but i would assume its before wow starts as well, some time during warcraft 3.

For those who don't know, Anasterian, Kaelthas' father and king of the High Elves, didn't believe the Horde was a real threat when they were actually already in his forests. Alleria had to bring him that troll head to finally get him to listen to her about the threat the Horde posed to everyone.
They ran out of ideas so they made up a family for an old character
The Dark Portal/Draenor stuff was Warcraft 2, not Legion ! 🙂
