  1. Great job on all these class videos!

Really appreciate all the work you put into explaining every single aspect of the specs 🙂

Arcane is also one of my all time favorites so I'm really excited for the shadowlands changes =D

  2. Did someone do like a decimal point error with Nether Tempest and it accidentally deals one percent the damage it's supposed to? Because it has no utility, it only deals damage and the damage is pitiful. It's really strange.

  3. was so excited for this one! glad it's looking good in shadowlands, im one of those few who already really like arcane mage, definitely on my shadowlands main shortlist as well.

  4. Bro, thank you so much for such a nicely-worded and thought out guide. No content creators have shown any in-depth content regarding arcane mage nor shown much love to the small changes it's receiving.

  5. Hello, arcane mage main here since BC. I have to say I agree with you for shifting power. There is a conduit that will make channel time faster as well. I was looking at shifting power. And it works well with night fae final covenant ability in a soulbind that gives 10% mastery. I really feel mastery will be very important in shadowlands for arcane mages.

  6. do movement speed effect stack ? for example if i use curse of exhaustion for warlocks plus succubus 50% slow , will that makes enemy become say 80%/90% slow or something ? like is there is cap on slow movement speed effect ? if yes what is the cap ?

  7. Thank you for this video. I main an arcane mage and have since wrath. Mu husband showed me you video and it made my day since I was feeling pretty down since all I ever hear in BfA is "you should go fire" and it is depressing when that is the only spec I dislike {fire is strong but I dislike it, always have, I will play frost on occasion}. Video make me hopeful that I won't be such a drag on my raid team and mythic plus groups. Looks like we won't e top tier but at least we won't be the anchors we are currently when compared to fire.

  8. 20:48 How many times does the "Arcane Harmony" effect from Grim Veiled Spaulders stack? The 2% extra damage per missile that hits. Can I sit for an hour on a training dummy, and then go to a raid and 1 shot a boss with 100,000 stacks?

  9. Woow. This was the most detailed "SL Arcane Mage guide-review" I've ever seen until now. Thanks for this video. Finally we can understand what we should expect Arcane in Shadowlands. And it just looks fine for me. People say GCD GCD GCD but they don't realize that, we don't have to use our all CD at the same time. Like 45 seconds – 3 minutes min and max burn phases look great. Thanks to you, we saw Arcane can be playable and it looks fun though.

BTW can you consider to make a video about Marksman Hunters ? It would be good to see a detailed MM guide.

  10. Looks great, but with the necrolord ability you have to use Deathborne->arcane power->rune of power->touch of the magi and then finnaly you start doing damage I dont know if I like that and I think using those 3min cds together is the play. I would prefer if touch of the magi was as instant spell out of the gcd without single target value but that is only my opinion

  11. Wrong. Arcane blast looks COOL, because you fell like an actual mage, not some throwie-sparkyballs-boi. You can see your complex arcane constructs desintegrate the enemy and you acts like Archimond himself.

  12. I feel like the mirrors would be much better if they did the damage regardless (so one mirror does a third of its' overall damage, 2 does 2/3rds and of course, all 3 mirrors does full damage). And if the enemy is immune to roots, stuns, or slows permanently it does increased damage (much like Deep Freeze back in the day)

So It ALWAYS does something, it NEVER leaves you with 3 charges unused, and it's still great in PVP. It might not be ideal (because a lot of the effect is just "some damage", but for raid or dungeon bosses it can still be effective/strong
