BETWEEN ARMS AND FURY, WHAT’S THE BETTER DPS SPEC? If you’re a Warrior and deciding what spec to play this is the perfect video for you. Analyzing the warcraft logs from various raid encounters in both mythic and heroic to see how much dps fury warriors can do in shadowlands vs arms warriors. This has given me some insight into if fury warriors are any good in shadowlands. They are pretty good, but arms is still winning at the moment.

I haven’t really gotten into arms yet, but I do have a fury warrior and it’s fun to play. Sometimes I think a factor is, (and you kinda touched on this) that popularity of class as the “meta” has a big factor in the numbers. The top people playing arms are prob the best players in the world and I’m just wondering if those same players played fury, would that make a difference? I also feel like any class can contribute and the difference in dps of killing a boss would be like seconds, so maybe just play what you like, unless your some extreme min/max “this is my second job” guild….. and really that’s not fun at all

I've seen arms warriors in groups that parse just above the healer. These videos are great, but just because we have someone who has theory-crafted the snot out of their class, it doesn't mean 25% of the other player will pull it off. It means there's always someone who is just a dedicated try hard that has. You shouldn't need to break your back in a game to play a class that will invariably be bottom tier out of programmer intent. Fury are incredibly rare on average low end dps warrior meters and as we can see are even worse then arms, which in some paired mob DPS do well but overall are shite. Fury is just tuned way the fuck down. It's effin stupid that Blizz picks certain classes in a back room meeting before each expansion and says, "Ok folks, these 2-3 classes are going to be shit for the next 3-years." Because that's clearly what they are doing. Or they're all just fucking lazy.
I do not care! Fury warriors are more fun than Arm warriors. I am hoping that fury will get a buff soon.
