For too long WoW has been plagued with nonsense like a focus on community building, well written lore, exciting villains, and having callbacks to fan-favorite games like Warcraft 3. No longer! At last, we finally have an expansion that does away with all of that nonsense in favor of a real Warcraft experience. Thanks to the help of a body building vampire known as the Jailer and his pet banshee Sylvanas, you’re in for quite a ride unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Shadowlands lore is a nightmare vision that n’zoth put everyone into

The only part I didn’t like about shadowlands is Sylvanas going to the maw to save some dumb night elves that died in the most boring world tree on Azeroth
If the jailor was doing everything for the universe’s safety, why did he have and army with spooky black armor covered in skulls that act like comically evil super villains? You would think he would make a golden host with valkyries and shit, that people would want to join, and ask the player to join him in the cause. Why would he make an enemy of literally everyone!?
Three expansions down when we have an expansion of the invaders from between the different dimensions, we will fight the entity orchestrating the monsters (who will of course act like a gigabrained mastermind), and at the very last second it will be revealed that they were simply fleeing the void because of a threat much MUCH scarier! 😧

I genuinely miss back when the Shadowlands was just the shitty grey opposite of the Emerald Dream where lost souls occasionally got stuck on their way to the afterlife. You know, how it was back in Wrath. Before the dev team decided to take every WoW race’s religion and subvert their expectations of the afterlife. Shadowlands lore is the worst set of retcons WoW has ever had in my opinion.

They did not retcon entirely the lich king story , they add thing on it. Yes KJ created the lich king but how ? Maybe by asking to zovaal or thing like that. It's the mistake of blizzard to not clearly tell us more in shadowland. yeah someone said it , dreadlords etc.. You don't want to hear it but it is what it is , IT IS WHAT IT IS and it is not stupid
The Jailer was the good guy protecting the Cosmos in the same way that an incestuous brother is the good guy for protecting his sister from vile lesser men out in the world.

Actually the Primus was forced to forge the Helm of Domination for the Jailor according to Shadowlands lore.

Most of people I watch, even those who are usually positive and chill about WoW, even the lore experts and speculators, agree with ShadowLands being a piece of garbage lore wise.
Personally I didn't think they could make worst than the story of WoD… they actually pulled it off, they keep surprising me in the wrong direction x'D
Grim did a great job….but forgot the 2 seconds where Bwonsamedi appeared, killed his master, took his master's place….and then was never heard from again.
According to old Lore Arthas tried to convert the whole of azeroth into undead creatures becuse undeath is resistent to the corruption of fel. Thus he would be able to face the burning legion. So the Jailor just inherited his motivation.
they really need to just retcon all of shadowlands out. the fan lore of us defeating N'zoth but his death caused a massive hallucination on the worlds more powerful people making them all catatonic and put into mass stasis where we are shown a vision which was afterlives. would explain the time skip being longer than the in universe time experience of the players when we come out. and would make it so the shit lore we have experienced for the last 2 years is just a dream. make sylvanas back into a villain but is gone somewhere for a later expansion. i would rather just have 2 years of lore wiped than have it all be canon cos i dont think there is a single piece of good lore at all. the dreadlords were ruined, sylvanas was ruined, anduin was ruined, arthas was ruined, Garrosh was ruined. even the fucking spirit healers when you die in the world have been ruined. its a joke and needs to just be completely wiped from canon material.
So quick recap;
Sylvanas ends up admitting that everything she’s done was from her own free will even in the cinematic they said oh were you being manipulated and she said no I did everything on my own free will.
Elune killed all those night elf children and adults, when the horde burn down the big tree we find out in shadow lands Elune didn’t save the elf people because she wanted them to die so that way her sister the winter queen could Harvester souls to regrow her dying forest but instead all those souls were sent to the jailor and Elune did not know but that means that she was perfectly fine with killing all of those night elfs to help her sister and yet tyrande still worships her.
The helm of domination gets transformed or rather purified into the crown of wills which basically looks like a quest green item. the helm is then sent to some random NPC that sort of quests with you but not really a lot. and somehow he is now a very big main character even though the role given to him was kind of a lottery it was literally like OK who wants to be the new CEO of controlling where the souls go and this dude literally just put his hands up and said I do I do I have nothing else to live for LOL some random dude that’s thrown in the beginning of the story is made into a big major character at the end with no character development and no background as to why he deserves it.
Then we find out that all of the eternal ones are actually robots which makes their presence feel even less valuable and straight up useless. We find out that elune is a robot by correlation because she is the sister of the winter queen who is the sister of the jailor and jailor is a robot
Have nixxiom walk though the zones and comment about each one and the people of those zones
Imagine this right, it's 2022, and you still give 2 flying fucks about Warcraft lore as a whole.
Basically the helm of domination and shadowmourne were forged by the primus who is on equal power with the jailor but the jailor corrupted the helm of domination so the primus reforged it to be the anti helm of domination then he gave it to pelagos the new arbiter so that domination magic wouldn't work against the new arbiter. It was all kind of random and pointless basically tying up loose ends.
According to the LORE, when DeathWing woke up, WE the player where blackout/passed out and we missed it
SO I want the NEw-new-ret-ret-ret-ret-con to be so We fall asleep after Sylvanas flew away, and ShadowLands never took place. it was all a bad dream. Sylvanas has no Daddy Sugar Jailer. She just ran away in fear

Nixxiom seeing the Crown of Wills for the first time is the funniest shit I've seen in awhile. "Who the fuck is the Arbiter?" Lmao
To explain the plot Blizz tried their very hardest to hide, as if they want Game Theory to make videos on it, is basically that there's a 7th cosmic force that got excluded from creation. Like every pantheon in this flawed existence, the pantheon of the First Ones had one of theirs go dark. A flaw that echoes in their creation.
The Jailer realized this. (Also he was pretty mad in the first place, as he doesn't believe in free will, and was given the job of judging souls based on their actions. Which he didn't believe were free. So, he was the worst person for his job in the first place). The Jailer realized the purpose of existence. Which is basically to unite the cosmic forces. The First Ones combined their essence to create the cosmos. The goal is for the 6 cosmic forces to form a unity to stand against the 7th.
The Jailer lacks any sort of charisma, compelling personality, and ability to trust others. So the only way he saw to accomplish this unity is through force and domination. Not only did he not trust the other cosmic forces and considers Death superior, as every cosmic force does with itself, but unlike Sargeras, this guy initially didn't even trust his friends enough to try and get them on board. Once again, he was the very worst candidate for his position.
In the end, it seems likely cosmic force the Jailer feared will make its appearance soon. I just hope it's cool, and they'll milk it for a long time. The way the story of our victory on Argus all started with fel-corrupted orcs coming from a portal, 20 years earlier. Draw this story out long-term, please.
As for what the unity the First Ones hoped to create? It's probably us. Mortals. Born from a cosmos created by 6 cosmic powers. Not belonging to any of the 6, but able to wield all 6 of them, and more. Mortals that have already proven themselves stronger than the other cosmic forces. We are the weapon of the First Ones against the First Fallen One.
I wanted players to kill sylvanas and when is she is about to die she remembers everything "oh shit…" as someone cuts her head off. Bfa happened because they had nothing left and some woke writers got too much power. and SL continued on that.

The Nightfae campaign just makes me think that the queen should’ve been removed and Bwansamdi be put in charge. He’d have been a very clever ruler.
