A little fan project I’ve worked on over the last month with Megascans + UE4, in prep for TBC…. I thought I’d have a bash at making a remake of Azuremyst Isle.

  1. could you all just imagine a wow 2.0, a truly new version of the game where all the locations or zones were the actual size based on the canon, looking this beautiful? where travel actually meant something and took time and risk, making the ability to hearth or teleport or ride or fly a real achievement and privilege earned by exploring the vastness of each area. it would be a truly amazing experience and we are coming closer and closer to it being very easily possible. wish blizzard would hire ppl like this, treat them with respect and admiration and truly utilize their talents and create intense, groundbreaking games again and change the worlds perspective of what video games can be. so much untapped potential its crazy. dragonflight has been pretty cool I will admit, but could you just imagine what a real, genuine next-gen wow experience could be like? man
