  1. i am thrilled about the covenant cosmetic restriction being deleted. hunters are still pretty much night fae exclusive as far as im aware (but also i havent really been playing…) so i dont really need to switch covenants, but the venthyr aesthetic is vital to my gameplay

edit: i actually screamed at legion m+ TW

  2. all that stuff is cool and all. But unless blizz starts listening to feedback IN the Alpha/Betaphase of the next Expansion, my trust wont come back. The whole "lets promise to listen to feedback wait actually fuck this we know better" approach just to cave in mid expansion is so tiresome

  3. Covenant swapping is good but I can imagine it being very annoying with people saying "Why aren't you x covenant for this activity, it's the best go and change covenant" And having to go and change covenant before you would be accepted for x activity.

  4. Well, whatever they do in a dead xpac does not matter. Let us wait and see how the next one goes and if they heed the players calls for change during alpha/beta.

The issue is not them making bad systems, they are human so they make mistakes. The issue is them ignoring player feedback during the development stage of expansions.

You should make a video about Ashes of Creation 🙂 jump the ship guys before it sinks..

  5. Yeah it’s too late. Unsubbed the other day. I can’t justify my time for WoW anymore. It’s not enjoyable or rewarding. Feels like a job now

  6. the best part of the video is the advertisement I got at the beginning, it was for a WoW Boosting service. its speaks volumes about the state of Warcraft as it stands.

  7. I'm with Tali on the covenant thing. I level'd 4 alts in different covenants so I could enjoy the lore and the story for all of them. And now that the covenants are united against the jailor it seems like a natural storyline progression. I did hate that I couldn't use the other covenant's pets but Blizz changed that already.
One thing they haven't mentioned is do you get to take your currency of grateful offerings and anima with you?

  8. Sadly retail changes are nothing to celebrate.
Everyone was begging for them since beta, then blizzard lied to us by telling us those changes are impossible, and then they can MAGICLY do it after they are losing money.
Turns out money is trurly only thing that can force company to do anything. They always fix they systems after few patches just to refresh people interest in game.
As long as they dont start implementing community feedback after a week or a month, not after a year there is nothing to celebrate.

  9. On the Ripcord question, I have to disagree. Because there is a renown cap, you are still locked to a covenant for whatever time it takes you to get to that cap. Blizzard’s justification makes no sense in the context of this, we would have been locked for the opening of the Shadowlands and we can still have covenant swapping.

  10. I don't think they're actually going to be having Legion M+. I think that line was meant to indicate that upper and lower kara will be separate and available dungeons in legion timewalker

  11. The skeptic in me feels that all of this is nice but when it comes to alts, the stack elephants in the room is the monolithic back stop grind of archivist rep and that it provides sockets and the only source for upgrading conduits.

  12. What these changes amount to is tinsel, easy wins that do nothing to fix the core progress issue. Welcome changes for new players but does nothing to address SoD sockets, Choregast required for legendaries, korthia grinding with quartermaster item's double locked. And definitely doesn't fix seller's, curve being meaningless because it can be bought and to the max toxicity because there zero controls in place.
