We didn’t need to be afraid. The worry that Mythic+ meant a future of only boring dungeons was unfounded, because Blizzard just dropped two of the most fantasy-filled, most thematic and most fun dungeons we’ve ever seen.

  1. Let's face it. Dungeon design, world design and all about that has been what Blizzard was known for since the inception of WoW.
It's the GAMEPLAY LOOP that has been tragic. The gameplay loop is what just doesn't work for WoWs core gamers anymore. Blizzard missed the part where most of us WoW veterans turned adult beings. And they made it so that one has to basically be super reliant on ingame economics. Personally, without a full economy reset, WoW is dead to me.

  2. Sorry mate, nothing about these dungeons is "simple". Cool yes. But I promise it'll be a fucking nightmare for casuals. If it's not tank and spank, it's probably "hard".

I have one particular friend that i play with that's well into her late life and she struggles with Z axis. Once those mounts are involved, it's all over. "Grab item and use it"? Forget it.

No one on the alpha/tests are going to be your "I get to play wow for an hour tonight" players. I think you're really, really underestimating the a huge quiet, yet majority of the player base.

  3. neat, more dungeons that get completely avoided in keys because of "fun mechanics"(The same fun mechanics that every player who actively plays the game finds unfun after a week of doing them, just look at nokhud)

  4. The treadmill players will definitely whine for the uniqueness mechanics of these dungeons to be scaled back or removed. M+ either needs to go or the timer and key depletion need to go. Pick the poison so we can go back to fun things.

  5. From the eyes of someone who hasn't played wow since 2021, this looks fine for existing WoW players but does absolutely nothing for me. It's like the developers used to only lift one finger and maybe now they're lifting two. And they really need to just adopt the guild wars 2/ff14 ground telegraph animations. The swirlies and that awful 1990s Quake texture for the "fire" are just really really hard on the eyes lol.

  6. A dungeon that needs light because the darkness prevents you from seeing, attacking, and healing…. You mean like vault? The one that is near universally despised? Cool

  7. I’ve been subscribed for a while and watch every vid. Just wanted to say I enjoy the content even the ones on more regional businesses since I find it interesting to hear about places I’ve never heard of that are popular somewhere else (like bojangles most recently)

  8. To experience for the 1st time with a group of friends who want to also experience it , seems amazing … For a pug group not so much , with followers it seems nigh impossible , and for people who want to crank out 8 heroics for the vault it's gonna be utter pain in the butt.

  9. You’re telling me that a paladin wearing the light bringer set which glows produces its own light wielding enchanted with the light of the earthwarder. Needs a candle?
Blizzard really didn’t think this through.

  10. This dungeon design is FANTASTIC, oh my god I can't wait to play these. I feel like i've never been excited about dungeons because it was just "soulless boss rush", nothing felt like an adventure. This is STARKLY different, im excited
