The story in World of Warcraft Shadowlands has been the most open-ended storywise ever, where will we go in WoW Shadowlands when Shadowlands 9.1 is done?

  1. (copied from my twitter, any chance this is still possible Master Accolonn?)

The Jailer succeeds in defeating us and heads to our reality to unmake Azeroth's soul, but when he gets there he finds her soul is missing. N'zoth tricked us into channeling all of her energy into Ny'Alotha. N'zoth is Azeroth's true Savior: for better or worse.

  2. I can see him saying my will wasn't my own and making things right with sylvanas. She will understand after seeing what the jailer did with anduin and both will kiss and make up…and work to free Anduin

  3. Greatest rival is obviously talking about Anduin, the novel is all the stories she reveals to Anduin while trying to convert him to the Jailor’s side, like this is obvious. Saying it’s Arthas or herself was just silly.

  4. The Jailer wants to rule all, Sargas has a sword of the titans just lying around in Azeroth and there is an open door in Icecrown, the next patch is going to be filler for 9.2 / 9.3 and 9.4 season finally will take place in Silithas

They said at the end of BFA that there were plans for that sword…the plans are here. 🙂

  5. Accolonn, your videos are great for people like me who cannot stand how the game works anymore. Love to catch up with the story and hear speculation, but want the game to play how it did pre-wotlk. I know that's a pie in the sky dream, but at least I can experience the story in some ways by watching your content. Love to ponder what is going to happen in the story and your analysis/predictions are primo content for me.

  6. I think you are a bit too hard on the leaders of the Covenants here. The Archon and the Winter Queen show they are willing to change as seen under this circumstances. Their ways might seem inhuman to us, but they are immortal beings from another plane. Even if they turn out to stand on the wrong side in the end, I don't doubt they believe or were led to believe in that this is the right path for the Shadowlands.

  7. Next step we go to Torgash basement and fight the void lord that’s going to be the next big bad. While Sylvanas is helping us kill the VL of her now realm that is the Maw.

  8. Arthas will be the saving grace of Anduin, just like his father did to him in WoTLK final cinematic, however with the twist of Anduin being restored in some other form (maybe like an astral form like Magni's)

  9. Sylvanas' biggest rival was Arthas. You're right about that. Nevertheless, Arthas has passed away, so I think her new rival is actually Jailer. Maybe in the beginning, she was too blind to see that Jailer is what made Arthas the Lich King, but in time, she will see that Jailer is her greatest rival. I don't see Anduin as her biggest rival as of right now because Anduin is currently enslaved by Jailer. As for Arthas, he is dead, so if Blizzard wants to bring Arthas back to the story, they will have to revive Arthas somehow. That is if Arthas deserves redemption. I personally don't think he does because he made all the wrong choices.
